This took way longer than I wanted because I'm really picky about animal design.... drawing the human planet critters was a breeze though. If only my job was to just draw bugs and fish floating in a void all day.

So, the chabbit is like a reverse gryphon?

you posting this at 1:30am made me feel a bit better about my own terrible work habits :) betcha can't guess why *i'm* up this late! are the adult males of talita's bugs any good? admittedly i have minor experience eating bugs but i can't imagine all that wing being very tasty. now i'm wondering if anyone eats butterflies... google here i come

Talita can have a little invertebrate, as a treat :)

I really love your non-sophont alien designs. Very good, right mix of realism and imagination. Every time I have to think about what alien bugs look like I start rethinking this whole sci-fi thing.

Krangis

Guinea pig sized bugs…holy shit. I mean I guessed that they either had to be big or very numerous in order to be feeding someone Talita’s size, but still! They do look weirdly tasty though, especially the females… 👀

I know we should be focusing on the excellent alien species design, but... I love chabbits I want to pet their fluffy butts.

i love how kind of gross and unappetizing the alien food looks while i glance at chabbits and mealworms and im like "yeah i'll eat that" i wonder if the food the other sophonts farm is appetizing to them or if it's kind of a survival food like bugs are to us humans at the present?

gliesedragon

Hmm, are chabbits are designed to have colorful eggshells? Nifty.

THE CHABBIT EGGS! A new spin on Easter Eggers!

talita eating like a gym chud is so funny and also very sad. someone make her some soup

If people are genetically engineering rabbits there must be a massive invasive species problem on Earth. How are engineered invasive species dealt with if they have literally been modified to be superior to their natural counterparts?

The little chicken feet on the chabbit are so cute, and the little beady eyes on the adult female insect from Talita's world makes me wanna pet that bug. Seeing how popular invertebrates are for Human food has me wondering about something. Currently some cricket for human consumption foods come with warnings for those allergic to shellfish [and maybe peanuts? It's been a few years since I bought some to eat out of curiosity]. Have allergies like that mostly been gene modded out of the general population? Are there new medications for food allergies that we don't currently have, or do folks who have certain allergies just have to avoid certain foods, like the real world?

You mention cross-sophont biochemistry is *frequently* incompatible, are there any exceptions that you thought of?
