I was never quite happy with my Patreon rewards. So lately I took a closer look at other channels (esp. Forgotten Weapons), talked with various people and thought about it.

Now, nothing is set in stone yet, but these new Perks are very likely to be added soon.

* Submitting Questions to a monthly Q & A, which will be answered in a Personal Video.

* Votes on Era / War (Cold War, Contemporary Conflicts, WW2, WW1, Napoleonic) probably once a month for a Visualized Video. Note that I thought doing suggestions, but in 2016 and 2017 so I probably cancelled around 20-40 videos due to poor sources, not enough information etc.  x

* Discord Server Access - here you can discuss with like minded individuals in the chat. Additionally, I will hang around there for text chat & also 1 or 2 experts will be on the "General Staff".

Feel free to add perk suggestions here.

Sounds fantastic! It must seem like a hard balance trying to attract patrons with perks without it being of detriment to the quality of your presentations. I think I can safely say most of us are here because we enjoy your work and considering you could be earning thousands of Euros a month with your qualifications I am very grateful that you devote your time to the topics we all share a passion for (despite its relative lack of financial reward) and like others wish we had more to give. The "generalstab" chat would be a great way for us armchair historians (and generals!) to have great decent debates with the professionals and being off Youtube means sensitive topics can be debated openly without fear of name calling. It would also take the burden off you having to answer all the questions. On another note I must say your Luftchats with Bis are great hopefully you could work together more often. (As long as it doesn't involve Poland!)

excellent! yeah, the perks need to scale or provide a "supplementary" benefit for the channel, like the War Bonds & Wall Papers, because they allowed / required me to look into features and techniques I usually don't have time allocated for. Yeah, I assume that it will be civil. This is already the thing with comments here. I was always highly active in the YT comment section and I think I will shift most of my attention away from there, cause it wasn't really beneficial to me nor my channel. With the Luftchat, you mean the original ones or the new live-stream ones?
