Videos are intended as introduction to military history, but also contain a lot of details for history buffs. Since the aim is to keep the episodes short and comprehensive some details are often cut. » SOURCES « Payne, Craig (Ed.): Principles of Naval Weapon System – Second Edition. Great animation, looking forward to what you are going to cover next.

Your visuals are advancing like the red army in July/August 44 and great work explaining a very complex topic! Cant wait to get a chance to tell people that torpedoes sink ships by creating bubbles and waiting for the resulting funny looks I get :)

:D :D thank you! You made them possible, since Patreon support allows me more freedom/liberty(?) to venture into areas that are a bit more unfamiliar!

thank you for your support! It will be back ;) main issue is the "end screen" from YouTube only works for 20 seconds, so if I say something like "thx to Harald for helping me out", time gets cut short. If it wasn't for those extremely restricted 20 seconds, it would be way easier. Of course in some videos it also doesn't fit - Invasion of Japan ending I think, because it was more about "introspection".

Sweet! and very smooth. As other say, you can see development here too. Small comment from my side: One of the reason these waves are so damaging on materials, especially on cyclic loads, is because the ability of the material to "adapt" to the load. It does take a little for (even a metal) do deform under pressure and the "deformation wave" through the material takes a lottle time. This phenomena effectively decreases the tensile strength of the material (for conceptual purposes) and thus results i failure

This is one of my favorite videos you've created! I am fascinated by the chemistry and physics of explosions. Underwater explosions are an area of study that I find it difficult to find information about. I would be be absolutely thrilled if you worked on more content on the topic of explosions, explosives, and their physics and chemistry. Keep up the amazing work, MHV! :) <3

thank you! Sadly, the number of views was rather limited, but Patreon support is growing and growing right now, so in future I will have to care less and less about views. Basically, the whole book Naval Weapons & Engineering is full of physics etc. also shaped charges, different rocket types, etc.
