I was wrong: Errors in How to Kill a Tiger - Tactics & Weaknesses

In my recent video, on how to kill a Tiger (Tactics & Weaknesses), I made a wrong statement about the SU-152. This was due to the fact that I used a generally considered valid source, which was sadly wrong. Here is a correction of the various errors and also some further information. Good thing I haven't seen the Tiger video yet. The old iron curtain and Soviet propaganda can't help research efforts. How much has been 'declassifed' by the Russians since the fall? It doesn't seem like much...

Edge

I have to imagine when a 152MM High Explosive round hits a Tiger, even if it doesn't penetrate, it has to ring the bell in a pretty nasty manner.

Military History Visualized

it is a mixed bag, there was a period where it was very open or rather easy, but that changed again. Quite a lot of stuff is still available online, in that regard they are actually ahead of Germany, unless I missed something. Although, one project is co-financed by Germany, but it is documents in Russian possession.

yeah, the main issue was, the gun was not particularly precise and/or easy to aim. Also the reload time was extensive, since the shell and propellant were extra due to the size.
