Panzerfaust Evolution: PzF 30 to 250

In this video Jens Wehner and I will show you the Evolution of the Panzerfaust from the early Faustpatrone / Panzerfaust 30 (klein) to the Panzerfaust 150 and 250. Furthermore, we explain the Munroe Effect, how the range of the Panzerfaust was continuously increased and other information about the Panzerfausts development. Finally, I will address (real and imaginary) errors in my previous video on the Panzerfaust effectiveness. That was good! Cutaways were a nice addition. I read that many of the Panzerfausts were used in urban combat. The Soviets did use the Panzerfaust as the basis for the RPG-2.

The British army were using the very effective PIAT throughout the war, albeit more in defensive use in the period 1940-1942, which of course is a role reversal for the Germans in 1944-1945. I am sure the German army would have taken notice of the PIAT's effectiveness in the development of the Panzerfaust from 1943 onwards. It is refreshingly to see that the Germans did not overly complicate/engineer this weapon unlike so much of their other weaponry!!

Hmm from what I know the PIAT was only introduced around 1942/43; I would be extremely surprised if they had one in 1940, since then the Germans likely would have captured one and re-engineered one themselves a bit earlier.
