The situation at hand... (Patreon)

First, big thank you here for your ongoing support!
An update on on my hand situation let's call it that. There is not much progress sadly. The good news is in May I finished the script for a sponsorship which was delayed and the video should be out next week. Chris from Military Aviation History helped me with the design and it will also include some footage that was produced externally.
Since I saw little progress with my tendons, I naturally looked into some research as well. And it seems that our knowledge about tendons particularly how to recover them seems to be rather limited even on the research front. I also noticed that the treatments or measures my physicians recommended might have been counterproductive or at least not particularly coherent. The most striking aspect for me is the prescription of anti-inflammatory drugs. At first I declined them since they always come with painkillers attached to them and my pain was generally rather limited additionally I ******* hate painkillers and I suspect that they would make trade tracking the progress even harder. Yet at the same time nobody recommended an anti-inflammatory diet. Now what I noticed is that some sources point out that an inflammation is a natural reaction of the body is part of the healing process. And anti-inflammatory drugs are generally prescribed when there is an inflammation going on that is out of bounds for lack of a better word. Yet in my case neither the pain was severe nor had I any swelling or red skin which would indicate a strong inflammation. The MRI also stated a light inflammation of the tendon sheet. Yet from all I have seen so far my pain symptoms don't align with tendon sheet inflammation. Similarly I was given the recommendation to apply quark on my hands for cooling which again reduces inflammation but why not recommend an anti-inflammatory diet. Funnily enough one of the I think leading researchers in that area externally shared a meme on twitter where she made fun of rest and ice that it doesn't ******* work.
I also found a new physician which seems to be an expert for tendon problems and he is located in Vienna. I got an appointment with him in about 2 weeks (I was lucky somebody cancelled) and considering that I have to go to Vienna for this you can you can see that I employing extreme measures now to resolve the situation at hand.
Another thing I noticed is that the recommendations on what I can do by the doctors etc. we're limited there was no recommendation of any supplements diet changes or anything else from what I can recollect. Now I might be wrong here but I guess if one would aim to increase the chance of a placebo effect one would recommend supplements diet changes or something else. I know that the research on these are sketchy but I'm pretty sure that these supplements and diet changes are far less intrusive than the anti-inflammatory painkillers I got. Also nobody ever checked or asked about my diet and some indicate that this might result from a deficiency although again this might be wrong.
Finally the trip to the museum in the beginning of October is booked, I will be interviewing a former service member there on many topics, which should produce several videos. Quite ironically or unironically I discovered an inconsistency between the German and Austrian train networks databases so both had trains that the other one did not have and this should not be the case. And I should add here that I was able to book a non existing train in the beginning of this year when I went to Freiburg in the military archives and only by pure luck I discovered a few days before my trip that I was booked on a train that did not exist for that time period and I should never have been able to book.
Note this text was dictated with word dictation as such there might be several errors which I have might missed when control reading it.
