Ahh yes Money In The Bank 2010 the one where Kane wins the Smackdown Money In The Bank and then cashes in to become World Heavyweight Champion “for The Undertaker” in storyline to bring the Title back to The Dark Side I remember that more than what The Nexus did on this show

Aj

An hr of TNA talk. LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Graeme Scrivener

If the next one summerslam Ive heard it twice on patreon I don't think they've realised

Don’t ever feel the need to apologise for being dyslexic Luke :) <3

Dogboy369

Listening to this while making a lovely charcuterie board, gonna have some crackers, quays, and some deli meats. Jam that jam.

Gorilla Martini

I'm stuck in the office today with nobody to talk to for 7 hours, perfect day to drop both of these!

LEGION428

I worry for Jerry Lawler cumming. 😂😂😂

Darren Lloyd

Luke Rtruth had a WWE title match against Champion Cena at 2011 Capitol Punishment

God watching the Nexus look like total geeks in that Main event was embarrassing. Just have the ref throw away the keys and the Nexus just go “you shouldn’t have done that” and they all destroy him. It sends the message of “this is what will happen to you if you don’t give us what we want”

Findlay

outstanding tagline for Get Him To The Greek

Lily Petal

I totally forgot it is partly because of the Nexus that we get the anonomus RAW general manager. I hate you all for that!

Dylan Caswell

I literally just met a dude at hot topic who said WWE from 2010 is his favorite time as a wrestling fan. I looked at him like he was crazy

Lily Petal

btw, when will the next Tables, lists and chairs come out as well as 1 2 3 count? I have been missing those.

Joseph Krusoczky

I wish I could time stamp my comment like on YouTube. I Fight Dragons wrote the song that Sourcefed and SourcefedNerd used as backround music in all there videos. Oli once said he initially mimicked sourcefed when doing the WrestleTalk news. I Fight Dragons is important in WrestleTalk lore!!

Morgan Leggett

I'm new to the Patreon and just finished binging the Samoa Joe/Angle series this morning and half an hour in I've only just realised this isn't still a TNA episode. I'd love a series where it's just "Luke and Oli talk TNA" and it's just half an hour show with no format just you guys going back and forth like "Remember when they did this?"

Kevin Fleuriot

Come on, just give us a Hogan-Bischoff era TNA series, guys. I know you know that's what we all want.

Owen

Please do the run of Immortal in TNA next

That Welsh Guy

It's concerning that Luke's day dream wrestling storyline is not far of what I was legit doing for a promotion last year

Steffan Bills

I was only 11/12 during the run of The Nexus and I LOVED them, it was the first time I felt proper crushing disappointment in wrestling. I still don't get how anyone around my age in their mid to late 20s can be nostalgic for this time, it was terrible even through my young eyes then

Jon Seeney

I was there for this as a kid and loved this show

“Burly” Rob Burwell

The Nexus could’ve the Quays to a new era and new stars but this story was the quays to me nearly rage quitting wrestling

Bdazzle

After listening to both podcasts I've realised oh no, I'm nostalgic for this time in WWE, i know it's shit, but i kinda love it

Lawson Douvier

I’m closing in on 40, and I’ve come to believe that nostalgia is actually horrible for mental health. It’s far too easy to tailspin into depression from nostalgia. However, it is impossible to avoid, so whatever, I guess

Pogo is here

Just three examples of the times we, as fans, handed the WWE the quays to our collective hearts only for them to break and stomp all over them: The Nexus, The Fiend, and Cesaro. We told them we loved these things via our cheers and adulation only for the crazy old man to dangle the quays in front of us and then snatch them away. Curses.

Mr. Samuel Scratch

Lance Storm absolutely seems like the kind of person who'd follow Heyman repeating, "Paul. Pay me" with metronome-precise rhythm. Wrestling just wouldn't work without the real suckers: guys working for free on handshake deals.

Mike C

Man I love these videos. Thanks guys. Tna tna tna! 🫡🤣

Blossom

Shep made me really laugh, thx guys

When oli said "predators? Was that the tagline for get him to the greek?" i died!

Your Jerry Lawler sounds more like Jimmy hart

Wanna hear an insane Jerry lawler story? Jerry the king lawler, who once infamously ran for mayor of Memphis tn, blames the Memphis police department for the death of his son Brian Christopher lawler while in police custody back in 2018. Now, normally this wouldn’t seem like too remarkable of a story. When people die in custody police are blamed for neglect or abuse or other sort of causing deaths of detainees all the time. However what makes this more interesting is that Jerry doesn’t think the police neglected or abused Brian. Jerry thinks Brian was specifically targeted by police and blatantly murdered due to past altercations with the police and his connection to Jerry as his son. Again, not very insane. A grieving father looking for answers and blaming those who he believes should’ve helped his son and lashing out right? Well, until you dig deeper. Apparently, according to fbi documents, back in 2004 2 corrupt Memphis police officers and a prostitute conspired to rob the home of Jerry the king lawler. According to the indictments, if lawler had been home at the time of the attempted robbery the plan was to indeed murder him. The cops were of course fired and arrested, and their arrests led to a wider investigation into the Memphis police and further arrests of Memphis police officers on charges including corruption. So Jerry lawler vs the Memphis police has been an ongoing feud, for about 20 years now. And it has resulted in a robbery, corruption and conspiracy charges, and possibly a murder. And believe it or not Jerry lawler is the good guy…

A special referee for a ladder match sounds like the most pointless thing ever
