Brock falling down might have made this show the greatest Raw all year

Stacy Queen

I liked the bit where he fell down.

Ben Morgan

I’ve seen enough, we need another Mini Royal Rumble match.

Frank Botello

I know women’s wars games is stacked but Maxxine should have been in the match after her awesome journey

Ieuan Hurford

Not Raw related but just wanted to send my appreciation to you gents for making my shifts at work a bit less miserable. Cheers lads :)

Jaws 24

Brock falling down was a huge highlight

Acon22

After Cody’s promo on Friday and all the stuff at the end i don’t think I’ve ever been excited for this wargames match!

Jack Tope

Gunther vs. Carmelo was maybe even better than Gunther Jevon! Had so much fun. Unfortunate it was immediately followed up by Triple H calling back to the DX 2008 classics. At least Dom booted him and in doing so did a Big Cass reference.

Devin Ridenour

Brock acted like he was playing Dark Souls, all in all another great Raw episode. I absolutely loved Carmelo vs Gunther, hope we see even more of Carmelo now

Happybandit

As Luke might say, it was a functional go-home show. The women’s WarGames face-off felt like it lacked substance. It actually has a better story going in, but it’s not being treated like it. As great as Gunther and Melo were, the absolute best thing on the show was Brock slipping and falling during his entrance.

Eric Kearney

Do you think the vision win war games since they now have the advantage in war games? Ps Brock slipping in his entrance has me and my wife dying of laughter.

Godzilladreamer

The Cody, Roman and Punk angle felt so weird to me. Like, why wouldn't Roman be referring to Cody? That's the title he held for years and the one him and Cody feuded at Mania over for back to back years. The World Heavyweight Championship was made because Roman was never around to defend his title. I don't see why he'd care about that one over the title that represents his over 1000 days on top.

Mohammed Albanai

The mini Cena segment felt like Vince was in charge again.

Will B

I shut it off after the Little Cena segment. Just too much of the Vince WWE feel, down to the small jokes from Wade. It's just uncomfortable to watch that behavior anymore.

Pat the booker

This isnt raw related but i got into a debate online with some wrestling fans that apprently cm did an interview and stated that wee champions are no longer paid extra money as was the norm under vince. I and a few didnt see a problem with this as they get paid more and extra pay for a predetermined thing seem arbitrary alot of ppl disagrees and thought it is disrespectful that TKo does this. What is yalls thoughts on it.

darth Jmarks

That Penta ending is really unfortunate you have to think the plan was Penta vs Gunther which no doubt would’ve been fun even though we all know Gunther is winning. Now Gunther v Solo feels like filler until we get to Gunther and Cena

Talk Talk Punch

I don't know if it's just me, and maybe we've just had much better women on the mic over the past 10 years, but I'm just not enjoying AJ Lee's mic work. Maybe she was great in the diva era, but I don't think she's a great promo 😬. Also, why are both Usos coming out to Jey's entrance song that says "It's just me, Uce"?

Wheels

Hey guys! This has nothing to do with raw but I’ve been watching since before the T-shirt days and just wanted to say thank you for everything that you do. Your content both on WrestleTalk and NRB has helped me more than you can ever know and I truly appreciate it. Sorry for the long comment. Have a great day and Jam That Jam

David Daul

Very nice of Brock to pay tribute to the legendary Shockmaster!

Jamaal Ellison

Roman Reigns returned for the 67th time tonight.

David Daul

Overall thoughts on this show: Feels like wargames is the only thing that matters...everything else gets put into neutral. I'll be happy when we get to Rumble time

KidCutty

Pretty enjoyable. Melo looked Great in a great match. The War Games teams are stacked and even with little build it still should be fun. Brock consistently embarrassing himself in front of millions has to be some kinda cosmic karma right? 😂 I do Hope Penta heals up soon tho. Hes one of my favorite wrestlers to watch and he's over like hell. But anyway shoutout to yall and much love

CammyGBR

Yooo! First of all salute to you guys, I've adopted that TLC type format for battle rap and the people who followed my channel love it but Christ editing it is rough! 😅 In this week's Raw, as fun as it was in different areas I'm hating the endings where it fades black in the middle of the main event segments They hyped up that Brock was looking for Roman from the very start and in the middle too but as soon as we were going to get the pay off? It cut to black and ended stream Feels like I'm dunking my biscuit of choice to then watch it dissolve miserably in my tea instead

griffin martin

roman has been “big dog” roman on the mic for a while now

Vectron44

Just on FG (sorry) I think one of the reasons the title change has been received as it has us that it feels like we've replaced a top heel stable with another. Everything about the way Joe won- including interference from seemingly 'injured' allies and Swerve and Page starting them down felt quite Death Rider-y.

Mark Decker

I'm sorry but having Gunther Winning the Jon Cena Tournament defeats the entire purpose. Gunther is a 2 time World Champion and has headlined events like Summerslam. This Tournament I feel should of elevated a new star to Main Event status (no not Jey Uso). Its once again HHH being predictable & safe. Carmelo/Gunther was Fantastic & Melo should be the guy to go against Cena

Edward Economous

Hi guys. I heard William Regal saying Wargames which took me to this podcast.

Danny

Brock must have slipped on Jimmy’s chewing gum

Brandon

this whose the leader thing should have been the story from week 2 of the team forming, not an idea introduced on the go home show. I don't care if you don't have roman start that story with Punk, Cody and Jey (still trying to be little roman) before introducing roman who ALSO sees himself as the leader to cause extra drama. it was an overall fine enough episode of Raw, besides a great match from Gunther and Melo and a hilarious Becky Lynch trump promo it was a very forgettable. Also penta getting injured as soon as the Lucha Bros reunite hilariously continues Rey fenix' tag partner curse

Wes N.

I just want to shout out JD McDonough for being in great matches this last week. The US title match on Friday was excellent and so was this match against Rey.

Brent

There's a WWE Youtube exclusive video where the Vision and Brock tricked Logan Paul getting back into the ring with the babyfaces after their brawl at the end of the show. It definitely had that house show feel with the babyfaces giving their finisher on Logan and the thumbnail wasn't in the actual video. Looks like Penta's arm got injured during the match. It's good that the ref decided to stop the match. It's amazing that Becky tries to be the leader of the team even though she was the last member to join. Her promo was just amazing and just wonder how much the Kabuki Warriors, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend were trying not to beat up Becky. Survivor Series this year is so Raw heavy. You got the 2 non WarGames matches primary on Raw (Cena floats between brands so he counts as Raw). Then you got Cody and Drew along with Alexa, Charlotte, Nia, and Lash the only Smackdown members on the card. The Sammy and friends vs the MFTs Survivor Series match should be on the card instead of Smackdown but I guess it would gone beyond 3 hours since WWE PLEs need 20 minute breaks in between matches. I think Raw was just okay this week.

Eric Kearney

Are the Lucha bros now off with PENTA’s injury, and if so what happens to fenix?

Peter Siddorn

I asked British Bulldog what happened with Brock and he told me he fell on his fucking arse

Bob

Hey guys! I thought overall this was another awesome raw, Gunther vs Melo was wicked and man is it good to hear his old theme and I hope Melo gets some resemblance of a push after this. I do think they are using the copyright fakeout just a little too much, I mean on the show Paul said Brock was going to be looking for Roman so it was very predictable. Super excited for SS though. Love listening to WTExtra on my runs so thank yall and keep up the awesome work! Cheers

Felixious Zheng

Isn't it a little hypocritical of you lads conplaingnabout how a 4 hour PPV is too long, then post a 4 hour podcast?

Kevin Fleuriot

On Smackdown, Cody said to Heyman "you build them I beat them" and on RAW, Cody and Punk were bickering about who's the leader. Maybe (finally), there's a Cody vs Punk down the line, maybe at WM.

Harry Cleaver

A lot of good wrestling on this show, but it really does feel like they are scrambling to make some stories for Wargames, The "whos the leader" storyline should've been the story weeks ago. 1 Women's match across Smackdown and the last 2 raws, being Maxinne winning the belt (do better WWE). Gunther and Melo put on an all timer, I was worried about Melo not having the crowd onside following his babyface turn but he really has been the standout of this tournament thus far. As outdated and borderline uncomfortable as "little cena" was, it was potentially the most John Cena angle of the year. Really unlucky with Penta, but hopefully with some time away from our screens WWE can figure out what to actually do with him. All in all, a perfectly fine go home show.

Aaron Davies-Friend

Really enjoyed the tag match and ending to Raw this week. Because of the star power it really feels like a must see match at survivor series and makes me genuinely want to watch it rather than watching to keep up with storytelling. Also I love this side of Brock, even falling over he laughed it off and genuinely looked like he was having fun, great to see. Really sucks for penta though, hope it’s nothing serious.

Josh Darby

The last weeks of Raw I thought we were in a bit of a turn around. But IDK with absolute garbage humans Logan Paul and Brock Lesner in the main event and the atrocity of segment with Dom Mysterio it’s clear HHH is ultimately no different than Vince. Honestly a segment in 2025 where we make fun of little people and use “foreign heel” gimmick. Just a bad time. WWE is hard to watch right now.

jasong316

Great to finally see some brackets for last time is now tournament, but why is LA Knight's opponent a surprise, did I miss something?

Tifa Simp

Roman’s line about him and Cody not really knowing each other is really funny considering they spent so long setting up the idea they are mortal enemies. I know survivor series as a ppv usually requires this kind of thing, but I would rather them not have a segment explaining their team up than have the two actively say they don’t really know each other too well

Vic Cutting

are we like... actually satisfied with codys reign? like he had a good reign last year with aj, but... this year its just been. mostly boring. and that one KO match but that was ages ago. give the belt to drew

Vikrish-Ingi

A split down the middle episode. Gunther v Melo great JD v Rey Great Dom's cheap heat segment brought back disgusting Vince vibes and the Botch lesner who is probably going to injury someone at war games as he cant even do an entrance and clearly doesn't give a funk . Very sad to see penta wont be taking the wwe by storm anymore . Is Fenix cursed ? If you align with him you seem to get sidelined 😅.

Morgan Leggett

Do you think Maxxine winning the IC Title is indicative of how little WWE value the Women's mid-card belts? In this era, you would never get that with the mens belts. They didn't do it when Otis was hot, they've had multiple chances with Gable. They're even shy on pulling the trigger on guys they're actively pushing like Rusev and Penta. I think they should do that more and glad they did with Maxxine but I just don't think they would with the men.

Sid Harrison

Hi lads, a serviceable go home show as always but nothing to write home about in my opinion. I’m interested in the Cody, punk and Roman dynamic but it’s a shame that it hasn’t been set up longer term to explore it over a few weeks. Do you two think this Is the mania direction and what variation of it do you think we get?

Tahl Tone

First time commenter so I thought I'd make it a nice easy one to answer. Out of all 5 of roman reigns returns this year which one was your favourite. Mine was obviously last weeks so you can use that one so which on is your favourite and please ego into detail why your favourite is so different to the others

G the B (Greg the Bastard)

Hi guys. I went in expecting a boring show and I was correct! Best bit was Brock falling over! I watched the 2022 war games last night. I bet neither of you can name all participants from both! Men's you probably could, no chance you'll get all 10 women!

Victor Almonte

The whole show I couldn’t stop thinking about Bret’s comments over the weekend. Vince and Shawn lovers .. what a funny guy

Jeremy

with the tag division in the state it’s been the past 18 months, do you think the tag division can get back to the heights it had coming out of wrestlemania 39 and through that summer with the likes of the uso ko and sami, jey and cody and the judgement day

Henry Riley-Edwards

With Becky Lynch recently dropping the IC belt, do you guys think there's a chance she becomes world champion before Mania? With the great work she's been doing as a heel, WWE might want her as champion for a Mania main event worthy match.

Bogey73

Glad to see Cena get his revenge on Brock by tripping him during his entrance

Marc Joosten

The opening segment genuinely put me to sleep and all 3 of the top babyface guys are great promos. I guess I’m just sick of promo trains and “no I’m the Quarterback!” Segments but overall a go home show for sure. Weakish but not terrible IMO

RealDoubleJ

The only thing that could have made the brock botch better would be if he got into the ring to play tug-of-war with a title belt as the camera fades to black

“HE RAN” Aaron Hanrahan

This is big Dom and he’s not quite 7 foot tall and he went to far and you can’t teach that 😁😁😁

Chris deaton

I really hate this for Penta. They just reunited the Lucha Bros too. There’s way too many injuries. Really sucks

David Hayter

I wish Rhea and Iyo would open Raw more often: they do their entrances quickly, cut promos that get to the point with in 5 minutes and have the angle for the rest of the show set up in 10 mins tops. I’m fed up of 15 minutes of entrance porn to start every Raw.

Princess Laura

Before I had a chance to watch the episode, clips of Lesnar falling over backwards made its way on my various social media pages. And when I saw it, all I can think of is "that's the most interesting thing he's done since his return".

Sid Harrison

I was very whelmed with survivor series is in reality is a failure on there part. PLE’s outside of mania, summerslam and I guess mitb don’t feel that big anymore. Best bit of the night for me was getting completely worked by the Dom Mysterio injury and even thinking that Raquel and Roxanne attacking Cena was an audible!
