The women's wargames was a bit clunky the ref didn't count quite a few pins and the psychology was backwards with the heels having the advantage but aside from that it was alright. Cena vs Dom I thought was really good the injury spot was done well and that liv return was great with a call back to bully ray staring into the camera when she hugged Cena. I have no clue what happened in Vaquer's and Nikki's match because I went to the bog so I'm just going to assume it was a 5 star masterpiece. And for the main event I thought this match was brilliant until the confusing ending. first of all I'm with Luke on this one I don't think a cage match should have interference never mind wargames so I don't like it when a man dressed in all black came in to cost punk the match second of all there's not a chance that's Seth I assume its theory because of Meltzer's report ages ago but I'm not sure. But overall from what I watched it has a solid show just wished WWE put a few more matches on PPV.

It was a widely mid show. BIGGEST ISSUE: no cages?! We doing a rumble style of entrances but the problem is they have to stand and pose while their team is being pummeled...awful. Women's wargames was maybe the worst one since it was revived, boring, nothing about it warranted it being wargames. Their timing also seemed really off the entire match. Dom Cena was match of the night probably. Fun twist and turns, liv doing the Cena heel turn was really cool. Steph Nikki was the most 2 star match ever. Why this match needed to be 25% of the card of survivor series I'll never know. Men's wargames was better but also still kind of just ehh. Not having a roof and getting interference I find just dumb. Correct team won at least.

Another disappointing show for me and feeling pretty burnt out. Not that interested in a Cody vs Roman 3 tease and whether it was Seth or Theory who interfered I’m not interested in either of them going after punk at the moment.

I only have 2 major things coming off of Survival Series 1. Liv Morgan being back is much needed for the women's division, hopefully that means they'll finally split the judgement day up, but that'll most likely happen at WM45 2. Lash Legend got the spotlight for a minute as she came out last and dominated a little bit, I do hope she becomes a huge star in the division one day

I was was showing my wife the replay of Brock falling on the entrance ramp on Monday. As he fell we noticed something on the bottom of his boot. I paused the video and had to take a screen shot to zoom in and see what it was. Yep. You guessed it. On the bottom of Brock Lesnars boot was a QR code that took me right to this podcast! Anyway War Games was pretty enjoyable. Can't wait to hear your thoughts.

It really felt like the Bron Breakker mega-push is finally going to get underway. Here he is facing off with Punk...here he is facing off with Roman...I'm not saying it will be the main event, but Breakker winning the Rumble and the title at 'Mania feels like a real possibility again. Also...the women's Vegas ad actually told a story while the men's version still just looks like a bunch of men in their 40s playing a card game. Saving the reveal of Liv Morgan at the end of the ad pays off the "4 Days" promise from the ad's teaser on Raw, and airing it after the Dom/Cena match saved the surprise. Well done, WWE marketing team. Also, also....why didn't IYO fling that trash can lid at someone like it was Captain America's shield? What's the point of custom props if you're not going to use them to their maximum potential??

Those were the two safest war games matches I’ve ever seen. No memorable high spots. Not even the obligatory Iyo bin spot off the cage could save that snoozer. Logan Paul didn’t even do a moonsault onto Hulk Hogan, John Cena and Dusty Rhodes like Wade Barrett promised me. I’m sorry but that was a boring show

For me, Survivor Series is 85%. I thought all the matches were good to great but, in particular, I thought the women's war games match was better than the men's match and could have main evented the PLE. PS. I think we alI can agree that the mystery man wasn't Seth Rollins. He would have revealed himself, and would have looked really stupid helping the guys who kicked him out of his own faction win the match.

Bron and Lash looked and were presented great but besides them both war-games matches were forgettable disappointments. nothing bad enough to be funny but nothing good enough to be memorable. best thing to come from this is Bron pinning Punk SHOULD mean born gets a title shot at the next show but knowing WWE thats not what's going to happen and it will be Logan or some shit. the main roster needs a break from war-games for a while, they should switch with NXT and try an Iron Survivor match next year

Survivor Series felt like WWE dumped ten furious people into two rings and said “figure it out.” Rhea’s team surviving the Women’s WarGames and making Becky tap was wild. Cena losing the Intercontinental Title to Dominik thanks to drive-by interference was peak “I can’t believe this is happening.” And the Men’s WarGames ended with Bron Breakker spearing Punk into next week after a mystery curb stomp. Absolute chaos, zero chill, fantastic show.

I understand the reason for no shark cages, it gives pops for entrances (cue Oli for WWE is only entrances comment) but the drama in the shark cage was sorely missing. They needed to show how fragile the team relationships were (men and women) but it felt like they chose moments over story. I mean with the rumors of Austin Theory aligning with the vision means he is the masked man? Maybe they should do more hinting beforehand who this might be, because of it it is Austin Theory it will come out of nowhere if your a casual fan. Overall Good push to Bron Breaker, I think there should have been more of a build for WrestleMania but it seemed like it was kinda rushed. My wife who isn't a online fan thought WrestleMania would be Roman and Brock or Roman vs Cody but there isn't enough build in that match to make it viable yet for a casual fan. Stephinie vs. Brie was pointless. This felt like pointless fan service for a time long gone. The woman's war games match was the best match of the card. A few mistakes but we'll done compared to the rest of the card. What does this build towards? Cena vs Dom had the right outcome. Glad to see Liv back even if Oil is sick of the judgement day drama but it gives the women's tag team division and maybe the woman's world championship picture some life for sure. Love the podcast. Pacing of the women’s war games was a bit rough to start - Rhea fixed that thankfully. I’m a lapsed fan who has got back into wrestling thanks to this channel and this marks the first time my wife has watched wrestling with me. She was a bit put off by the bump Bron took and didn’t quite get why I like wrestling - so I put on TLC II after this show and she understands my fandom a bit more because of it. Glad Dom got the win, that was the only way to go in my opinion. My wife’s favourite part of the show was Stephanie’s win, but mostly because “she looks like a witch” and “did a cool move”. Finish to men’s war games was a bit of a miss for me, felt rushed at the end. All in all, not the best show, but after going back and watching Rhea Charlotte at WM39 thanks to your TLC episode, Rhea is my new favourite wrestler (bit of a cheat me being Australian though)

Hey boys much love from Chicago! Survior Series might be the last PLE I watch live for awhile. The week to week Raws/Smackdowns are "fine" but outside an exciting one off here & they are so predictable. Spending $30 to watch a show that I could predict what was going to happen via winners & losers is kind of infuriating. Yes the Liv Return was cool & The Mysterious Hooded figure was interesting, but watching your Podcast & YouTube highlights are free & I'd get all the info I need. I Love the Entrances & the in ring product, but the storylines are just to "safe". Love What you guys do & appreciate all the content week after week. Happy Holidays & Jam that Jam!!

I’m starting to have WarGames fatigue, it’s a stipulation that can only work one way and it showed in this show. The women’s match was a bitch clunky and the psychology was off, while the men’s match was exciting and somewhat unpredictable. But I wouldn’t mind WarGames not returning next year, feels like the stipulation needs a break to be taken seriously.

Survivor series 2025 was the cherry on top of bland sugar free ice cream sundae of a year that was 2025. Rather than trying something new, here comes another guy in a hoodie to screw someone over. This show was mediocre, not bad by any means, but honestly isn’t that how we’ve felt about WWE overall since the Netflix launch?

Hi guys, I won 16 quid correctly betting on the outcome of the 4 matches, which I think shows how predictable the booking leading up to this has been (in hindsight I should have placed a bigger bet). Hopefully Bron pinning Punk bumps him up to number 1 contender (assuming hopefully no bad injury from that nasty landing) and Logan Paul can leave to go back to scamming children out of their pocket money like the vile snake-oil salesman that he is. Also anyone else hoping Codys little tantrum at the end might be seeds of a heel turn? I hope so cos man do I find everything about his character boring as all hell. I didn't really care about his "story" and I care even less now that he's finished it. Hope yous have a good one & jam that jam.

Weird that John Cena’s last ever in human recorded history was for a returning Liv Morgan Interference and not a straight singles match, I get that the story has to continue with some wrestlers, but John’s about to end, you already paused any Judgment Day Stories for these matches, why put this in. Anyways, the reason why there was no cages is because there would be a visual of Brock behind bars and I think they knew that.

Hey guys, that was a very mid Survivor Series. Liv definitely returned too soon. WWE is about to enter into a holding pattern until the beginning of next year for Royal Rumble build-up. Liv should have been held back as a surprise for the Royal Rumble. I really hope that Liv returning now will actually bring the implosion of the Judgment Day. Both WarGames matches were just fine. Woman babyface team wins once again. Iyo Sky does a jump off the cage while in a trash can as usual. Lack of shark cages really made the matches very bland. At least the hooded person didn't actually reveal their identity immediately. Papa H thinks that is enough of a swerve for us but not really. AEW does WarGames much better since it actually feels like a feud ender between groups. WWE WarGames has become "It's that time of year again. We need 10 men and 10 women to be in WarGames." It quickly has become Hell in the Cell was when it was its own PPV event every year. It might be time for Survivor Series not to be part of the big 4 anymore since WWE can't properly build a WarGames match and a traditional Survivor Series anymore. WWE just has the big 3. I would put Money in the Bank in the 4th slot but we all know how much Papa H doesn't like Money in the Bank.

Loads of people saying 4 matches on a PLE card isn't enough but if the matches mean something I think you can get away with it. Not sure WWE did on this occasion... Not too interested in seeing Roman/Cody 3 however this could mean they are moving away from doing Roman/Punk at mania and it can go to someone who needs the rub. It should be Breakker winning the rumble for the mania match anyway but it's WWE watch it be Logan Paul.

Hi guys, I have recently been struggling with getting on board with you guys saying recently that WWE is just entrances. And was really looking forward to seeing those wonderful moments at Wargames with the tension spots in the entrance ramp cages like Punk and Roman previously. I then had to eat humble pie when I watched last night that everyone got an entrance at Wargames!!! I am now proud to admit you guys were right and yes WWE is now just entrances! I now believe in Oli and Luke (clap clap).

It was a fine but predictable show. Didn’t like the no shark cage because it adds to the storytelling of the match but I guess it was a lack of space issue. I’m assuming the masked guy was Thepry being rumored for the group pretty much since the start of it.

Jey Uso is ruining matches and booking, he shouldn’t be pushed as a main eventer. He can’t wrestle and he’s just an entrance and an annoying one at that! Also, I still have a very bad taste in my mouth that Brock is back. It’s not even like he comes back and is good, he’s back and is just annoying as everytime he feuded with Roman, PLUS the alleged lawsuit. WWE is becoming a bad product, and this is just exemplifying it

wwe booking at the moment feels more and more like Vince is in control. the product feels different, bland and just crap right now. I fear they can’t keep this up forever, as fans will begin to jump ship - most people i know already have / only watch for their kids..

With no shark cage and therefore no tension spots for the men’s match it would have been better as a traditional survivor series match. Plus it would have added variety and made sense as they had a war games match with about half the stip and what felt like only 2/3s of the actual wrestling.

Maaaannnn this chat is pretty negative 😂 everybody wanna get off their hot takes but the truth is it was about a 6.5 to 7/10 show. Not Bad, not great, just good. I think watching WWE with my son gives me a different perspective. Sure I could nitpick about EVERYTHING like the IWC usually does but then I see his reaction to matches and I remember why I first fell in love with wrestling. Just my opinion, and its not a negative one so I doubt it gets read lol but yall have a blessed day fellas

The Roman/Cody moment felt very much like trying to pick up a story about 10 months too late. Also, Jey felt so much more compelling when a heel turn felt possible. I wonder if they are going to have Jey breast Gunther, then go heel against John Cena? It sounds more plausible than it did before this PLE.

In my head-canon, they still have cages to house the wargames combatants but it's now held in the gorilla position. Sadly, they can't show the footage due to Michael Hayes pulling up his cuck chair. Maybe they'll show it for WWE Unscripted?

Great to see Cena getting Dom over by only losing to 6 people . I really hope Nikki gets back with John and retires with him. I did enjoy the show though and the Liv return did surprise me. And the ghost of seth was brilliant . To slow to be seth to big to be theory to tall to be Chad 🤔. But I've realised we need to stop chanting WWE as hunter has changed the name to " We Want Entrances" and we are all just encouraging him.

My thoughts on the show is as follows: 1. The women's war games match had no substance to it. No drama, little tension, no memorable moments. Very forgettable. 2. The cena v mysterio match was very goofy. I think it was just enough goofy for me. However, I have no clue what direction they are going now. What is the plan with Gunther now if he beats Cena? Who can Dom possibly feud with now? Do we really need JD drama in the year of our lord 2025, and soon 2026. 3. Vaquer v Bella, similar feelings as with the women's war games. 4. Men's war games was very uninteresting until the end. I'm happy breakker pinned punk. Surely that makes breakker #1 Contender. The mystery figure is also interesting. My fear is they will do a WWE, go boring and have it be Theory. This is the most likely option but I'm still hopeful for a ethan page or ricky Saints. Wishful thinking, I know. Overall, I'd give the show a 4/10 Love the work you do guys, keep it up 🙌🏻 Edit: Just saw the leaked reports 😶

I thought it was very mid. Women’s war games match was fine but I do enjoy the traditional Iyo bin spot from the top of the cage. Cena Mysterio was a lot of fun. Vaquer Bella wasn’t anything to write home about. Men’s war games match was just boring. Jey Uso proving once again that he is intact an entrance merchant. The “not Seth Rollins” in a hoodie was just a bit confusing especially since there wasn’t a reveal as to he was. They need to giver Wargames a break for a few years and only bring it out when it’s required like a Hell in a Cell. Also why weren’t there any Shark Cages this year?

I thought overall is was a good show, it felt like it didn't drag ad was going at a good pace (despite the breaks) the wrestling was again good. Both wargames matches whete what they where nothing outstanding, for me I enjoyed the women's wargames match more, The Stephanie/Nikki match was a match ad a better match from Nikki Bella than her last match with Becky bt saying that I think it should have been more of a dominant/squash performance from Stephanie to really build up her character ad work The John cena match was probably the match of the night, I didn't think Dom was winning bt with the return of Liv ad the way the match turned out it wasn't going to finish any other way ad let's Cena now potentially win his last match whoever it is against ad doesn't mean he leaves with a title.

First time poster, long time supporter. But I just caught up with this whole PLE on Netflix in about an hour. Skipped through Cena/Mysterio and Vaquer/Bella but the amount of ads, skyline shots, and silence as they went to ad breaks elsewhere was awful. I would say about 50% of Survivor Series was ads or silence. WarGames matches were great but they really need to get the balance right with the ads it’s so off putting.

I normally try not to moan too much about the shows and try to just take what I liked from it rather than focus on the poorer aspects of the show so I'll do that first, the cena match (though hella overbooked) was a fun watch and dom is SO good at the little intangible things that makes wrestlers special. Also even as someone in my 30's who was never a Cena guy I'm just here to enjoy the last appearances rather than critique them. My hot take from this show though is purely that if the mens wargames match was a great match (which it definitely wasn't) this show would have been a B+ - A- show but the mens wargames was purely average as was the women's one and this show lives and dies on the quality of those two matches

I’m in the US (so I used a vpn) and I was struggling to watch it for abt it an hour bc it kept saying I couldn’t use VPN to watch it, after going through a bunch of unnecessary trouble I was able to watch it and let me say it wasn’t worth it. The women’s wad games was fine ig, cenas last ppv match was really fun but after was a women’s match that I didn’t care abt bc I don’t like Niki Bella, and then a boring and broadly non important men’s war games with a flat finish. Been watching for almost 15 years and I’ve felt way more disinterested but I’m very bored with how wwe has been this whole year. Much love HH Kiss

Survivor series was ok at best. Just a small issue with war games that I have. No shark cages and when a superstar does their entrance, the does seem any urgency to get to the ring to save their team mate. More important for them to have their full entrance

No Jey stuff does suck and overall both war games matches were a bit meh. My guesses for the masked man would either be Theory or Jericho. I think Theory has the look of a Heyman guy and Jericho could set up an interesting history riddled story with punk.

Going to nitpick one specific point that irritated me, to try and say something else that I can’t see has been said. The ref not counting Dom’s pin because he didn’t like that he faked the injury is kinda bull. He didn’t see anything illegal happen, sure he doesn’t like the strategy but that doesn’t give him a solid reason to not count the fall. Seemed kinda silly to me, but maybe I was just desperate for Dom to win for the points in wrestle league. Otherwise, a pretty middling show where I actually enjoyed the singles matches more than the big attractions 🤷🏻‍♂️

Imagine paying for a Star Stacked 4 match card( focused on 2 matches) that wasn't anywhere compared to the one that was on weekly TV. And being more entertained by the TV match. This was a snme card. But thats just me. I watch both products hoping for the same thing. ENTERTAINMENT. This was miss after miss.

A) It might look great if done right but a lot of wrestlers land in a frightening way after taking the Doomsday Device and Bron Breakker was no exception last night so I think it’s probably best to retire the move personally. B) If the ending of WarGames was teasing Cody vs Roman 3 at Mania then I’ll pass. Roman’s near 4-year reign was legendary but also longer than it needed to be so I don’t think it’s necessary for Roman to ever be World Champion again, especially if he works part-time for the remainder of his career.

AEW doing Blood and Guts matches so recently was genuinely really effective in highlighting just how lackluster the WWE hardcore in-ring approach is. WWE under delivered on the one thing that's supposed to be their strength as the matches last night lacked any cohesive character workor stories. The whole three leaders tension thing was half-baked in the build to the show and executed poorly. If this is the men's main event scene that's carrying us to Wrestlemania, it's hard to really get excited about any of it.

The way triple H books the calendar year is so dull and incredibly boring idk why we pretend this is the golden age. Knowing the day after mania it’s a march to summerslam and nothing will happen in between. Post summerslam is for some reason now the road to mania . Nothing happens for 8 months out of a whole year
