Thought the angle at the end was genius and that MJF’s 2026 so far has been mostly terrific. I’m a little worried about it being interpreted as a demotion of MJF rather than an elevation of Brody but thankfully I haven’t seen too much chatter from that perspective.

Think Hunter could learn a thing or two from AEW at the minute. Brody, I love you, mate, but I think I have more chance of winning the AEW World Championship than you at Grand Slam Australia, and I’m at the other end of the world. Your time will come though Brody!

A real goof show until the Fuck ICE chant, at which point it became the greatest show in the history of professional wrestling. Grand Slam should be a great appetizer for the Revolution main course. I will say it's pretty funny nobody won a eliminatior match against a champion for what felt like years and then it happened twice in half an hour.

Really enjoyed show this week Kenny versus Andrade was unreal and I can’t wait to see Will return. I understand why but I do wish the main event was longer. I’m not saying beat MJF clean but maybe they could have done a time limit draw because of the new rule

I know I'm probably the least fan of Darby Allin, but I'm so disinterested in Clark and Gabe having a standard ultra violent program with him only highlights that they can do violence, but not enough to put him down. Like the Death Riders. Like Brody King. Darby's schtick does absolutely nothing for me. That said, a fun show that left me really excited for Andrade vs Hanger and Omega vs Swerve. I was there live! I'm still in absolute awe over Brody vs MJF! I didn't think it would be that quick (title of your next sex tape) but I'm not disappointed because Justin Roberts got us all hyped before they went live and it worked. Omega vs Andrade was AMAZING I cried seeing Kenny live. And I swear we chanted Bald so much throughout both tapings probably the most used chant of the night. Non Spoiler but tease(?) The Collision 3-Way match RULES!!!

Crowd chanting fuck ice was very nice and Brody just killing mjf was a shocker. what i am worryed about is Brody and Bandido's follow up. There is a part of me that wants Brody to backstab bandido and go heel but i don't think my hart can take that and brody is way to over as a face for that to be smart. but If i was to put my fantasy booking pants on i think a Brody and Bandido 3 match feud that Brody wins 2 Bandido wins the blow off (in a lights out or something so it main events) and then he wins the aew world title at all in is what i would do. that might feel to soon but i think Bandido can be a top face in aew right now and i think if aew don't capitalize on both of them in the main event soon they won't be as over when they finally do. we have seen that time and time again from aew but idk maybe i am just insane. But i can't see what else you do with both of them after this. Putting them in back in the tag tittle picture feels like a back step and all the mid card title are tied up in feuds and long storylines. If Will is back in time for all in just do a big singles match for him like a Kenny or aj if he's in aew. I don't think Will needs the world title anytime soon to be a top star.

I think what they’re attempting with this mixed tag feud is a tricky thing to do. It could be off putting or creepy but they’re getting across this romance between storm and Cassidy in such a tame and tasteful way. It’s quite charming and nice but feels almost antithetical to the type of really daring stuff toni storm has done in the past as well as how trashy romance angles usually are in pro wrestling. I like that there is a positive romantic relationship depicted but toni already had that with Mina

First of all when did Willow become the TBS champion? Did i miss something? Also i don’t understand the championship elimination match’s you pin your top champions just so there opponent to most like lose at the PPV/at the next show. Just get rid of it, makes the champion look bad and the opponent look bad. Keep up the great work fellas JAM THAT JAM P. S I’ve never liked this stipulation but this one just made it look even worse.

Feel like Andrade winning clean would've been better for him, instead his winning is just a tool to push Kenny and Swerve tension. They could have done it better.

this main event scene is probably the best it’s ever been in aew. when ospreay returns it’ll only get better. and the potential (even though the chance may be low) of a certain phenomenal one entering the mix soon as well just makes it that more exciting.

The MJF Brody was great. Hope AEW keeps this momentum when pushing new guys into the main event level. Also chant of the night from the crowd for brody.

I feel like AEW on such a high at the moment. In my wrestling group feel like even those who generally more WWE are getting so excited for these cards ATM. Hope it keeps going. Andrade looks better then he has in years aswell

As someone heading to Grand Slam Australia next weekend, I’ve gotta say the card is shaping up very nicely. The only thing missing is a Kenny match, because I haven’t seen him wrestle live since his New Japan days. The MJF/Brodie King angle was absolute chef’s kiss. Can’t wait to see how the go-home episode goes next week. Fully prepared to convince myself that I need another replica title however my finance will probably shut it down.

With an increase of video packages and a gathered emphasis on raising the stocks of wrestlers like Kevin Knight, Brody King, and Andrade, would you say AEW are doing more to build their future rn than WWE has in 2026 with the newer nxt call-ups?

Hey mates, do you feel like this Darby Allin-War Dogs feud could possibly lead to David Finlay becoming All Elite? I feel like it’s an easy ready made first feud to win for Finlay, not to mention his history with Ospreay, Mox, Takeshita and especially Jay White could make him intriguing for this roster. Not much has been said about his contract status yet and I think he’s the only War Dog we’re unsure of with Kidd and Drilla resigning w NJPW and Connors reportedly being All Elite.

Two things: AEW is really showing how antithetical to WWE they really are. Ava couldn’t say anything against the current regime until she quit WWE, while Brody wears an Abolish ICE shirt, gets the tag titles and a shot at the big one, AND has a chant that makes me feel hopeful about our chances in America. Fuck ICE, indeed. Also, do you think the Ospreay video package means he is closing in on a return?

The fact that WWE had their annual blood money its f'ing Riyadh season show and a week later we got FUCK ICE chants at a televised AEW show is a great example of why it's so important that there are more options on what wrestling companies people can work for and support. More options for all is a good thing.

Here’s my fantasy booking for Darby: the War Dogs dragged him out into the Las Vegas desert to die, so for the next two weeks we get vignettes of him wandering the desert until he stumbles towards an Aboriginal man. (I imagine he looks like Gateway from 80s/90s X-Men only he’s wearing Sting’s face paint.) Then Darby leaves from the desert covered in dust, only to discover he’s magically emerged from the Australian outback just in time to head to Sydney and fight Gabe Kidd

AEW is once again on a hot streak, it really seems like they are hitting their stride in the world title scene especially and with the imminent return of Ospreay it’s hard not to be excited for the rest of this year

Such great booking with this championship belt. Last week was a shock when swerve lost and this week omega, but that leads to Andrade fighting for a belt he's not winning yet with an omega swerve feud starting. All that is clever booking by TK

Great to see Brittnie Brooks on AEW TV. Saw her wrestle at Chris Bey's tribute show at FSW last March and been a fan ever since. Glad to see her progressing so well in the Indies and now making an appearance on AEW at only 21 YO

I wasn't expecting Brody squashing MJF but more I think about it, maybe we should had expected it. Brody was squashing guys in the past month so him beating MJF so easily was telegraphed.

I think it would help if the National and International title had special rules like the Continental Title with the 20 minute time limit and no one at ringside to make them more unique. I wouldn't suggest plunder as a rule because we don't need a hardcore type of belt. TNT title being the midcard version of the World title is fine.

Loved the show top to bottom. Loved how MJF set up the quick loss by taunting Brody on social media beforehand. Any chance Brody gets a short title run with the title to capitalise on how over he is and how much people buy into him as a genuine person in and out of the ring?
