Kerkvliet is gonna be interesting but probably got one of his tougher matches out the gate. Kerkvliet is an NCAA heavyweight champion who AFAIK has only lost to Gable Steveson, Mason Parris and Anthony Cassiopi. Even with it being an over 80kg bracket, he's going to dwarf some of them. Him v Tackett would compare to Leo Viera vs Mark Kerr in size discrepancy.

I think lack of hype is a) because of everyone paying attention to the Olympics and b) because the UFC news cycle has been (justifiably) swallowed up by complaining about how they’re ruining the sport

Dana just doesn't seem to give a shit anymore about promotion. They seem to be fine with the cash they make from their TV deal and have more in the works. They know they'll make a big gate given the fighters being at home. Izzy isn't the new sexy thing anymore. Dana acts miserable in every interview, seems to hate the sport, and is probably salty Trumps numbers have dipped. He's more interested in being a bigger public figure than promoter.
