Forearm/grip exercises and mainly pushups on my knuckles have seemed to have had a positive effect on my wrists when punching in 4oz gloves. I’m surprised I don’t see more people talking about that

For us as we learned the arm triangle, grabbing the wrist when you have it locked up instead of gable-gripping your hand, takes some of the preassure of, as you cant get your shoulders at max preassure so to speak. Also, i would say it is much easier to explode out of it like jack did when you grab the wrist, you get a much better grip locking the hands, if that explains it a bit

You nailed it man. Fingertip pushups work for me. I've had "relatively few" wrist issues in 30 years of combat sports thanks to a lot of focus on the stuff you say. I also figured out "old man strength" is exactly this

Jack, knees to the head from north south pose a serious risk of paralysis, I’m definitely for grounded knees they should be allowed but from north south it’s just too much of a risk imo

Fighter to introduce to the newbies : It's gotta be max. The career trajectory has been absolutely fascinating. And he's a great example of someone taking a few BIG losses (Conor, Dustin, Alexander) but coming back better after each one. Particularly against Kattar.
