So I've gotten back into the swing of There's More Than One.
It's going to be my Big Trans Graphical Work of 2017. But needed re-writing and this is actually one of the pages that's being re-written.

I have maybe? 5 pages left? six? But each page is chock full of fun delicious details so I'm taking my god damn fucking time.

I've been meaning to post photos of the works in progress, I have them. But I'm bad about remembering to post them.

ANYWAY

After "There's More Than One" is complete I'm going to shift gears pretty dramatically.

You probably know the work of Sarah Scribbles - I love her comics she's a genius. You'll also quickly observe her website is covered head to toe in advertisements. So if you want her to get some money please click one of them (you'll be fine).

This is how most cartoonists make money. I much prefer zero ads - which is where you beautiful Patrons come in.

Julia Kaye - however - is fucking behemoth. There's humor. Simplicity. And a unflinching raw honesty that vividly captures her experience as a Transgender woman. Amazing work.

I've been loving working in color but I'd like to get back creating comics regularly. I'd also like to get back into black and white (definitely cheaper to print let me tell you).

Honestly I want to make diary comics. Simple, honest, and sometimes funny/weird. I can do this I just need to...do it.

So first things first - More Than One needs finishing.

Then later it'll be going into Queer AF.

But yeah. I hope within a month I'll be doing my first experiments.
Working in Black and White is actually very important because there's been a long-time-coming comic that I need to get out there and it can't be in color.

I am not yet prepared to write it but I can at least sharpen my contrast skills.
