So this year has been pretty rough. I guess I'd hoped to have accomplished more by now. I keep wondering what I'm doing wrong, or if there's just something about me that tastes weird to people. Maybe it's because it's my last year as a 20 something, or perhaps it's everything to do with the direction of this country. I don't know. One this is for sure though:

I've been pretty hard on myself.

I wanted to hit the ground running in 2017 and in many ways that's precisely what I've done. I'm pretty exhausted, and I haven't been dealing with the stress of it all in terribly healthy ways.

I've been worrying so much about the "success" of my comics that the process has become pretty miserable. Alex and I were talking about it and I think she correctly pointed out that it had been a long time since I had a longer project to focus on. And so after many, many years of alluding to it, the time for Dragon Sword is coming. Faster than you might think.

I plan on tackling the Order of Operations more or less as depicted above. But I've already been writing Dragon Sword's lore for some time now. Soon I'll be going on The Family Vacation in Cape Cod. I plan on spending much of that time fleshing out even more.

Another hope is for me to take on my artwork at a more manageable pace. We'll see what happens.

When the time comes Dragon Sword will have it's own website, where I plan on uploading pages regularly.
