Apologies on being so quiet lately but the good news is I've had a small flood (comparatively speaking, anyway) of commissions, to include another sticker design from my previous employers at OnCell.

The regular marketing person was away on leave cuz she had a baby so instead I dealt with the Vice President and I was shocked to see that they didn't want/need revisions. In fact the entire commission was very straight forward and relatively painless.

I also gained a ton of interest after being commissioned to do a pet portrait:

I've spent my entire life thus far declining dog wood carving and portrait commissions, so OF COURSE the second I do one three people contact me almost immediately for one of their own. Not that I'm complaining.

Next up is a new NB Nerdy Feels, which is not just for fun but a paid work for the Empty Closet, a local LGTQ+ publication I'm working for again.

After that I'm fixing to create a new portrait/avatar thingy for a good friend Brian. I have a small piece of the art I was working on earlier this week but he wants to go in a different direction - which is fine because he's paying more for said direction.

The only thing is my wrist is in some pain. After I get this new comic done I'm going to take it easy for the rest of the weekend. I've been doing some stretches and I've re-arranged my desk to be healthier for folks avoid carpel tunnel syndrome. I'm sure I'll be fine once I take it easy.
