Happy Monday! (Patreon)

Hello my loves!

I'm excited to report that after many trials and tribulations (don't ask!) we're closer than ever to having a finalized PDF of In a Word Trans!

Yesterday was the Trans Day of Visibility and I took full advantage, resulting in upticks on Twitter and Instagram! Views/shares from a re-posting of On Trans History are in the 700s and climbing so...yay!

I did lose some Patrons though, and to be honest it I'm feeling a little salty about it. It always hurts to lose a Space Coven member, but really I'm just weary because all week I've had to grin and bear watching nonprofit groups use my work without my permission.

They never message me or ask or leave comments, I think the general idea is I should be thankful they thought of me? ...Which I am? but still it sucks that all this activity doesn't actually result in money for the artists they claim to love.

Nonprofits have a lot of money. Perhaps not in their budgets? but trust me they have a LOT of money. It's hard for me to see how different their actions are from their mission, and how that could read as anything but false allyship.

Sorry to gripe! I have other/better news but I want to hear from you?

I was really unhappy with the hierarchical nature of Patreon's reward tiers and I'm still in the process of revising (perhaps you noticed the new graphics/wording?) I like the idea of all my content being accessible, and I love the idea of responding to you and your interests.

So with that in mind - what would you like Wednesday's post to include?
