Hello Space Coven!
What's with the video? Keep reading! ^_^
This week should prove to be rather special as I am FINALLY sending the FINAL draft of In A Word Trans off to my printers. The process has proved a bit challenging since apparently I need an account and the only way to create one is...?
So yeah I'm waiting for a call back. Waiting has been my number one challenge. Some weeks ago I realized I was driving myself up the wall without a project to occupy my time while I waited so I am doing a deep deep DEEP clean of the upstairs of our apartment. It's the only thing I can control right now on my time/terms.
Look at all the CRAP we had in storage! I've been very much inspired by a combination of Queer Eye and Mary Kondo's "Tidying Up" on Netflix. So I've been working for over a week now to identify the things I don't need and to restructure the space to be something I want.
The Sands of Time is a NPS educational video that has been playing at the Cape Cod National Seashore Headquarters/Nature Center since before I was born. We watch it every year, we own it on VHS and DVD. The Hubbell family may as well own the rights to it at this point.
About 8 minutes into it there's a section on how the coast of the beach changes with the tides. I'm going to overlay the audio of this onto process shots of this cleaning. Basically only my family will truly appreciate the video but...they don't call it "a labor of love" for nothing I guess!
Thanks for reading! Say hi in the comments!
