I'm going to start with what I consider to be the Elephant in the room.  I did not intend to neglect this Patreon Blog, but found myself rather overwhelmed by my Trauma Therapy.  I hope it wasn't distressing to see me posting everywhere but here.

However!

What I've decided is I'm not doing this alone.  I'm taking everyone with me.  My "witch series" was initially intended only to illustrate (and thus manifest) my pleasure and joy.  Trauma Therapy is a part of that, and so I'm including it.  I want to show you that—yes—it's hard, and totally worth doing.  You watch.  This is not my first rodeo.

Today's comic

If you're reading this it means you're my Patron.  And that means I'm very thankful for you.  So I'll reveal to you (and only you) that back when I was working in an office I found an excellent pile of boulders just sitting there in an incomplete parking lot.  I took one, then officially asked the higher ups if I could take the rest.  It was a hard "no!"  Those weren't rocks they were "landscaping features!"

I didn't ignore their request, but never returned my perch.

...It's mine!  MINE!

Revisions

I was never satisfied with the original face I was making here, so I fixed it.

I similarly cleaned up the original Stone Tools comic.  Because I can.  Try to stop me.  You can't!

Thanks for reading!  And most especially for Patronizing my work!

I get that, though, it's easy to scroll and post in other places, but takes more energy to connect. I hope the trauma therapy is proceeding in a meaningful way. Thinking about you! <3

Shaky start TBH. Our first "session" was more of a "we can't break anything down yet because we're only just starting" so I spent that time basically providing context (horror stories, crying, venting) and learned at the very end that it'd be 2 weeks until our next appointment. Not my favorite experience? but also not my least favorite. This is all very normal and I'm safe, comfortable, and enjoying my time <3

That beginning stuff is so hard, I've recently gotten a new therapist and we're discussing all the traumas, whee! I send you beautiful energy to get you through
