This episode in incredible. One of my faves of the season. Loved your reaction - it was so fabulous. Dark Charlie is a total badass, and everything is so awesome and unexpected in those first few scenes, before we realize there are two Charlies. I was just 😦😦 that whole time. So, way to go for picking up on the way Dean's hands were shaking. It took me a couple watches before I figured out the pattern. Unfortunately, I think the pattern is a little different to what you were thinking/hoping. 😔 So you're right, we see his hand shaking throughout the episode. Even while he's trying to be "good", eating properly, trying to get enough sleep, not drinking, listening to "self-help" tapes. He's trying SO hard, yet the shaking continues. But then, after he beats the crap out of Dark Charlie, in other words, lets out the violence and darkness, he looks down at his hand while Sam is hugging Charlie on the ground, and it's rock steady - no shakiness. And then again, at the end, he's looking at his hand and seeing that now that he's vented the violence, he's steady again. At least for now. But I think it scares the crap out of him that the need for violence is gonna come back. It's very hard to see his fear of course, because he's Dean. But on subsequent rewatches I could see it. 😞 I do 100% agree with you though, that Dean really, really needs to forgive himself for things. And, like you, I do really think Charlie forgiving him meant a lot to him. I understand where you're coming from with Sam as a "side character". It's definitely felt like that over this last while with the mark. It is a big storyline for Dean, and Sam is just basically being asked to "react" to it. But rest assured that Sam finds more of his own storyline in the not too distant future. Won't say more because spoilers, but I can't wait to keep going with you! I also, of course, agree that I like Dean as a character more than Sam. I'm just a thousand percent a Dean girl. And yes, it isn't just because he's the sexiest, most beautiful man on earth. 😄😄 He is a TRULY fabulous character, and Jensen plays him perfectly. However, as you said, I still love Sam to pieces. I think he's an awesome character too, and the two of them together are amazing, of course. And obviously, Jared does an amazing job with Sam as well. The next couple episodes are decent, imo, but not my favourite of S10. But still looking very forward to them, as always.

I like this episode better than the first one where we met Dorothy. I like premise of this one, it's intriguing to think if you had 2 parts of yourself out there, although I am already kind of mean so I guess I would be letting out my nicer side😂. Yes, I agree that seasons 9 & 10 are very Dean focused, I do think after this season it balances out more again. But I am always going to want Dean centric storylines or seasons so I have no issues with it😁
