Tehcnicaly god didnt create those demons their going on the ofbranch of judism cult stuff that believe lillith created demons as her children well lillith existed outside gods plan she was baned from the garden of eden made to walk the earth she wanted a family so god cursed her so her children wou”d be monsters that feed on humanity she still loved her kids and created the demons so demons existed outside gods plan compared to base line judaism and christianity where demons are fallen angels which again places them outside gods plan

French is one the latin based kanguages so the french preno7nciation of micheal is likely more corect than the english so it likely is meant to ryhm

Your prediction about Maze is interesting.... Do you recall what her bounty said to her in the Episode called Mr and Mrs Mazikeen Smith? He asked her to join him and she declined, saying she has roots and she misses them - he replied "and you said you don't have a soul".... (in other words her behavior suggests otherwise) Did God banish Michael? Or did he merely state the fact that no one on earth likes him or wants him around? "You're no longer welcome on earth" can have various meanings, subject to interpretation or perception.... The next one is rather different, and a wild ride, but fun.

Regarding God giving frustratingly cryptic answers, I agree that they must be frustrating, but I can also somewhat emphasize with God. He is, in a way, in the same position as us viewers. You ask questions that we cannot answer, to avoid spoilers. Similar he can't just tell everyone what's going to happen, else it's truely just a deterministic life instead one of free will. But yeah, towards his own family he could be a bit more open without it being a problem. Also, I found it interesting to see them sitting at the table in a (Christian) cross shape, until Linda joined and broke the shape, just as she (somewhat) broke the tension during the family dinner.

It was a very intense family dinner indeed and how cleverly done so we can forget Tom Ellis is playing the two characters. I really believed Michael and Lucifer were there together. I did think God was in a difficult position in that he created his angel family and as as with humanity gave them all free will. Maybe, as you suggested he wants them to work things out for themselves, to learn to grow and make their own choices. If he 'gives' them what they ask for then maybe he would see it as exercising control, interfering and taking free will away? As you said that must be his position on things but the question is... has it always been the right position to take- to create the angels, give them power over themselves, free will and then stand back regardless of whether they stand or fall? Welcome to season 5B, my favourite and prepare for more questions as the story plays out.

That is a great analogy about Patreon reactors asking questions but we cannot answer them because that would spoil the journey ( as with God and the angels) and change the perception of the story. We would be taking away the control from the reactor. I hadn't thought about it that way before.
