The return of the bowl haircut. This was a spontaneous idea to add to this strip and yet it was so important XD

Although many people were asking us to bring back the long hair....well, he does look darn hot with it (this might be the closest we get to a bishonen in this whole comic. hah)

Also, where is Jolene? The answer: at the Pawn shop :(

It's not addressed on screen, but I did have the idea that Roy was struggling finding work and in order to keep their heads above water he sold of Jolene, even if it was just a short time. What a sacrifice  ;P

Of course, some people were questioning why Charlene's parents didn't help these two. The answer is pretty short: They didn't want to. (although in some sense they did anyway. After all, Charlene was not wearing any of her jewelry prior to the marriage ;))

I would like to revisit This part of their timeline and make a point about Charlene's jewelries in a future arc. However, although I have the story already in my head, I haven't figured out a time slot where to put that story yet :( I'd never thought we could be so packed with arcs...golly <,<)
