I am currently reading the chapter, but Gal, he saddens me, because I know he has done terrible stuff but like it isn't entirely his fault. Mentally he is a child really, I wish there was a way to redeem him, like I feel bad for the Progenitors cuz like they are victims in this as well.

What would happen if John decides to just immobilize Gahl'kalgors Dreadnought by having Dana create a black hole at the Dreadnoughts engines. It wouldn't kill any thralls and it would immobilize the ship. Gahl’kalgor would have to decide to either halt his attack, spilt his forces keeping a few fleets with him while he fixes the ship, or have the thrall fleets keep going leaving him alone. He would probably figure that John has a Dreadnought that is capable of traveling at 5x and split his fleets, This would give John a better chance of attacking the thrall fleets first that kept going and then coming back for the Dreadnought and the remaining thrall ships.

Chapter 133 was a great chapter for battles of wits with Kintark and Brimorians, I’m hoping we see that type of chapter for 157. Calara’s calm mind working through the problems was great to see in this chapter.

Spoiler alert…. So there are 29 Fleets (2610 Ships) invading Maliri space. According to John standard operating procedure for progenitor is to attack with 20-30 fleets. With that in mind there is probably only one fleet guarding the hyper warp gate by Arcadia based on this chapter, so they could possibly do a tactical strike on the gate and get away.

Was surprised Nova lances were not used but then figured out they were trying to copy a progenitor Dreadnought. Would like to know how a progenitor shield would hold up to nova lances. Will also be interesting to see how effective singularity drivers are too.

Tef did say he would publish 156 ‘much faster than usual’. The morning of the last day of the month is pretty fast for Tef. It suggests he’s trying to deliver 157 by end of day. Hopefully it’s a complete 157. Partially because we want to read it, but mostly because no one wants to slog through the tsunami of posts groaning about pre-charging for more chapters when we haven’t even got the ones we paid for last time.

I was totally (California, sorry) expecting Faye to be brought back in a cloned Nymph body, ... great memory and computer-like compartmentalization, ... but NO, that scoundrel up and bases the 'protype' on Irillith, ... now I expect Faye to also be able to delve into cyber-space along-side her 'creator', ... and visit with Daphne and all the collective there as well. And where the heck is the Athena clone/prototype? Enjoying this chapter loads!!!! ;-) TTFN

I for one hope he does not upload CH 157 tonight. The first place my mind would go would be to wonder why it took so long to deliver 156 if it only took a few hours to complete 157 and get all the editing done. Impossible I know, then I would wonder how long he had 156 done without uploading it. Cause that would have alleviated a lot of bellyaching if say it was uploaded a week ago. So yeah, I am good with just 156 for today, maybe get 157 in a week or so.

Unresolved Plots

Maybe, because chapter 156 being the start of the war with Gahl and 157 the continuation, Tefler has been holding 156 back in case he needs to make any changes to avoid plot holes? I can understand this. It makes sense. Ch. 158 and possibly the next couple after, could all be part of this same war arc, if this war arc is as large as ch. 100.

So since Rachel used Maliri DNA as the base blue print for Faye, does that mean Fayes body will stay the same when John fills her up? If Fayes body grows into thrall body, then Rachel wasted a lot of time making her small only to get big soon after Faye is born. Just a thought 🤔

John now knows how to manipulate DNA. If he wants Faye to be smaller, she will be smaller.

What is Athena? She is a psychic construct that occupies part of Alyssa’s mind. What if, John takes Athena’s “soul”, and use that as the “spark of consciousness” for Faye? As a organic creature, Faye will need to sleep. Athena can then keep her same role as John’s companion when he sleeps, but during the day, just experience life through Faye’s body.

After this war there will be a lot disabled ships that won’t be flying ever again. However all these ships will have fully functional weapons that can be salvaged and there will be a lot of extra weapons (tachyon lances and cannons plus quantum flux cannons). What should they do with them all? Maybe give a few to TFED to boost morale? They could install the salvaged shield generators on Maliri ships to give them a boost plus add a couple tachyon lances to each Maliri ship would allow them to supplement captured thrall fleets.

Uploading Fayes electronic brain into her organic one will be interesting, I wonder if it would be easier to use cybernetic parts similar to Shinotabe as it would be a direct electronic-electronic transfer, rather than needing a Cyber-Psychic to transfer between the two. It does mean that the Faye(Robot) effectivly enslaves Faye(Organic), however as the body is purpose built as Faye and has the instincts from Maels research any adverse affects would be minimised. Plus it would mean that Faye has two ways of joining Alyssas' Psychic Chorus, both through mental contact and using an Ashanath Psychic wrist communicator, enhanced by Dana.

So throughout the whole story John and crew have been doing psychic resistance weight training with their minds. John has been consistently pushing his mental abilities from barely able to shape CA 3 times to now doings it 35 times. With the new purified soul forge putting up so much resistance it will eventually strengthen Johns mind to were it is no problem operating it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when the crew of the Invictus boarded one of the marooned capital ships full of husked thrills, I seem to recall that progenitor ships had no security on their air locks because "who in their right mind would want to board a ship full of thrills?" According to Illerith. So why are they worried about how to get inside the dreadnought?
