Templaric Armor (Patreon)

The armor of the Blessed Nobility that are Awakened, who possess their family's Blessing. The armor is made on commission by the church, using the same material used to craft Purified Steel. The process is known only to the smiths of the church.

Templaric Armor is incredibly heavy, to the point Unblessed and Unawakened are unable to wear it. It is only through the Awakened's use of A'lum that they are able to move as they do with the armor.

It offers near-unparalleled protection, being able to deflect normal weapons with ease. Purified Steel is unable to cut through it as well, though blunted variants have better success. The weapons capable of easily damaging the armor, and the occupant inside, are Blessed weapons.

Only wealthy noble families may afford this, and even amongst their number, many possess only one of these suits of armor, as the price the church charges is exorbitant. The families that have commissioned a suit of Templaric Armor reuse the same one through generations by sending the armor to be refitted to the new owner.
