December Dev Notes IV (Happy Early New Years!) (Patreon)

Sup guys, this is gonna be the last progress report for December of this year, and the next post yall should get is a 10k- 12k update from me

Nothing much has changed from the previous progress reports as im still not finished implementing what I told yall previously.

The Jelaythan visit will be split between our Champion being with either Adelina or Uriel.

Adelina with the Jelaythan delegation, and Uriel with Count Rageon's. And you choose who to go with. Both paths will reveal a bit about the world at large, and like I said, we'll get to see surprise guests specifically in Adelina's path. Mama deals with international politics lol

Our father meanwhile, is having to deal with the domestic politics between unruly houses trying to flex some wiggle room while our parents are busy with clearing the Crownlands. As with our mother, we will see some early appearances there that will be important in the future.

Here, we will be able to see the issues that House Parsec and House Ast'stead bring forth to your father. And frustratingly for our father, there is no simple solution when it comes to politics and appeasing factions. Plus, he kills someone!

We'll be able to see why our parents are clearing out the forests of the Crownlands to make land, and giving charters to families left and right to clear their duchies of forests as well.

Well that's it for this lil progress report. Just gotta finish up the horizontal coding and make sure everything works afterwards. As said before, I'll put a spot where I tell you to save so you don't have to replay the whole thing.

We're almost there when we can leave the story set up in earnest!!!
