Aizen used his Shikai to adjust Shinji's perception to counter his shikai.

"I will help this man, who hates the world, love it once more" Komamura may look like a wolf but he's the goat 🐐

This video glitched multiple times for me, is anyone else experiencing this?

CaptainCameron

Ngl Tosen is kinda weak in general. Kenpachi destroyed him and didn’t even take his eye patch off plus I don’t think Komamura was fighting to kill him.

secondubly

Tosen fighting one of the hands down strongest characters in the series and he's considered weak? That logic doesn't track. That's like calling Renji weak for losing to Byakuya 😭 He's not weak, Kenpachi is just ridiculously strong.

wdym i feel like they were very touched by komamura's words and tosen, they just didnt trust he fully changed when he asked to see hisagi's face lol

Camska

I know Komamura is not really popular, but he's among my top 3 Captains. I just love the guy

THE_KENPACHI

Tosen’s final episode is the collapse of his own philosophy. His justice was built on grief. The murder of the woman he loved exposed a system that protected power over innocence, and that injustice became his entire worldview. But because he never healed, his pursuit of righteousness twisted into the very cruelty he claimed to oppose. You were wondering why his resurrection doesn’t overwhelm Komamura’s Bankai? The central message symbolically shown is power without a heart is a shell. Komamura, the beast, embodies the humanity Tosen abandoned. His strength doesn’t come from revenge or ideology, but from bonds, loyalty, friendship, vulnerability. When Komamura tells Tosen that a heart is shaped through connection, it cuts deeper than any blow. The most heartbreaking part is Tosen’s hypocrisy. He once taught Hisagi that fear allows us to connect and care for others yet he abandoned that very principle. Hisagi, being terrified, becomes the true inheritor of Tosen’s ideals. His blade is not vengeance it is compassion. He saves the man who raised him from becoming a monster even he would no longer recognize. As Tosen’s vision stabilizes he finally sees his own regret. For one brief moment, he sees the heart he denied. And then Aizen ends him without hesitation, confirming Tōsen was never a partner only a tool. His story does not end here btw. Can’t Fear Your Own World light novel reveals the full corruption behind his friend’s murder and the upper level rot within Soul Society, the exact injustices Tosen sensed from the start. His ideology continues to haunt the narrative, proving he was not a disposable villain, but a vital voice in Bleach’s moral framework. Tosen’s tragedy is simple yet devastating. He wanted a world without suffering… but couldn’t believe in a world where people suffer and still choose compassion. By rejecting the heart, he lost the very justice he fought for

The Black Promontory

Aizen saved Tosen, in a way. He saved him from self betrayal ala, “if I ever fall from my path, run a blade through me so I may die myself and not live to become someone else”. Aizen was honoring Tosen’s views that he shared a few episodes ago, where he told Komamura that working to defeat an organization only to join it and live peacefully in it would be “corruption”. Aizen uses a lot of people, but in Tosen’s case, he used him but was also genuinely sympathetic to his cause and views… they both saw a future for themselves and the world that was incompatible with Soul Society. Tosen saw that Soul Society was a fallible institution that would breed more injustice like that perpetrated against his friend. As such, he swore not just revenge, but change. Aizen, as callous as he could be, was the only other person whose views of the future did not hold the Soul Society in it. To Tosen, this was in the long run, “the least bloody path”. That’s my interpretation anyway :3

It looks like it was a temporary issue with the app itself but it’s better now, thanks 🤍😁

Thanks guys, going from the other comment it might've been a temporary Patreon issue, not seeing it right now. I should say it's rare that I encounter any problems from your videos which is why it seemed glaring :)
