I don’t know if you’d rather go for something different after Bleach, but if you ever feel like watching something that gives off a similar vibe, Gintama is probably the best choice. At first the tone might seem very different, but it has that melancholy typical of Bleach, and the MC has a lot in common with Ichigo. In the 10 years between the end of the original Bleach and TYBW, it was the only series that managed to fill that void for me

intriguing, I had a completely different reaction. I was actually excited on how they were going to reel me in *because* Aizen was such a crazy figure. I get it though, no one really beats him out and it felt like a complete drop when Ichigo lost his powers. I will say though, like I said on discord - the rest of bleach is excellent. For me there was always a drop-off from the soul society *until* the fights picked up in FKT and the reveals + Ichigo levelling up and in many aspects, this arc is better than what you've seen. TYBW is a whole different story, just pure crack. It's fantastic.

Loved this and can tell it's totally earnest - but the best part is their idea that everythings over after the Arrancar arc 😄 Bleach is so rewatchable anyway I can attest to that 😂

I thought I was the biggest Bleach fan lol Imagine how we felt this way back in 2012 when the OG show ended. Don't worry Devi TYBW we will return to peak....before the anime ends again for good lol And I love Jackie comforting Devi. As a husband myself, I totally relate to you guys having pillow talks about anime...Bleach, Fairytail, Naruto, Rurouni Kenshin and Samurai Champloo was always a teary subject for me.

No it's not, especially since the end of TYBW. I like the movie but nothing in it needs to be viewed before TYBW. Kubo disliked the movie so much that he wants to rewrite it in a new manga arc if he can. Movie wasn't bad but it wasn't what Kubo envisionned for hell in his verse and so non-canon hence it can be viewed after.

Bleach is much more anchored in real life than OP or Naruto, we see what could be a life as a teen in (almost current) Japan if we had super power but not in a world where it's common like MHA. It couldn't end with Aizen's defeat because we still had so much more questions who we knew had an anwser (I won't tell any since it could be spoiler). Bleach, even after TYBW isn't ended, it could have been but Kubo decided his story wasn't finish but didn't want to say if it will continue, he doesn't wants to work with weekly or monthly deadlines and anytime someone ask him about Bleach's next arc he say that more we ask, less we are like to have news, he wants to take his time and do what he wants (reminder that Kubo works alone, he doesn't have assistants). This arc is often viewed as "bad" but I really don't think so, it's justn much more psychological. Side note : Boruto manga canon is worth watching

When you watch Bleach for so many years, including fillers, reading mangas, playing games, it becomes part of your life so I think that feeling goes away. Theres a lotta shows where I dont like to watch the last episodes cause I dont want the story to end lmao, but it isnt Bleach's case cause its been in my life for so long now. And like yall said watching reactions really makes you revive some moments imo
