Thoughts of Ginjo's views? 🤔

Yeah Gingo's just a petty thug that wants freedom to do whatever he wants and mad he was lied to about rules and conditions.

Pretty much. He doesn't like being controlled by someone. He wants to do his own things in his way. lol

There’s more to the Ginjo backstory but it was explained in a light novel that came out after the main story ended. It’s not a spoiler for the main story but i’ll just let someone else say it in case

Ashish Kumar

Ginjo was the first substitute soul reaper so when he realised truth behind combat pass, there were no hints for him laid out. He probably learnt it the hard way and cared too much for "privacy/control" like many people irl. Considered it unfair and didn't expect this from his "friends". In manga is explained a little more. When he voiced against it to SS he got assassins sent after him which gave him a harsh betrayal. He realised SS would eliminate him if he is refusing surveillance so he grew hateful towards them. Then he went into hiding. He is old, lived for a lot longer than a regular human I presume. Killed some soul reapers and kept his beef up.

There's more to it in the Light Novel. But since I hope they will include some of the Light Novel in to the last cour of TYBW, I don't want to potentially spoil it.

I am aware of the twist in the light novel in which Kubo's fav char is in focus. Trying to be cryptic.

Ginjou said it right here. They use the Combat Pass to monitor them, control and analyze their Reiatsu and then eliminate the Substitute Shinigami. Which means Ginjou experienced the betrayal of attempted murder by the Gotei 13.

You know, I hadnt rewatched the Fullbring arc since the anime was released and manga. I hated it. And rewatching it, years later, I thought I'd like it better but no. It's still insanely bad compared to the rest of the manga imho. I honestly dont understand what happened during this arc to Tite Kubo, its really so MID. No ennemy is interesting, all the fights are boring, it serves nearly no real purpose that couldnt have been handled otherwise... The only good points I'd give to the anime are the improved animation style and good soundtrack.

You know, I hadn’t rewatched this arc either besides the final ginjo fight. But I feel differently. Some parts of this arc are mid compared to other arcs where the best of bleach shines through, but at the same time the full bringer arc does some things better than other arcs. Besides tybw, I’d argue full bringer arc has the most “aha” moments and the book of the end set up for crashing down on ichigo in that episode achieves a story setup better than anything besides maybe the big “aha” moment of Aizen being basically the writer of the show. But that even lacks setup and context until tybw while the full bringer arc doesn’t. Just my opinion though

I always liked Byakuya but after this for me he was the best. No matter how important anything or anyone is to him, the enemy of Ichigo will be his enemy. The award for best loyal character goes to… 🎉 He totally slapped Ichigo’s long time friends and even family. Thank you for your reactions!!!

I hope I'm still on time but could you also watch the outro of the TYBW episodes? Besides the fact that it's really cool and fits the darker vibe of the arc, there is these littles poems from almost all the characters at the very end of each outro

JDanime

we watched the poems but skipped outro incase of spoils :o only watched the first episodes

JDanime

It's a really different vibe from the previous arcs :o I wish they developed the character stories more..

I think the Fullbring arc biggest issue is that it's so... OUT of the manga. You have this overall plot with Aizen for dozens of episode, the Blood war is a fantastic final arc and in the middle of it, you have this random guys coming, doing nearly nothing, beging asskicked and leaving again XD

Marou

The outro of part 1 does not contain any spoilers, but since you already watched the first episodes it would be nice if you watched at least the outro at episode 7. There is a very cool surprise there that adds to the story and I think you guys will love it :)
