Yeah , it is very sad to see dragons fighting each other. And the fact Vhagar big ass can do sneak attack is crazy , she is really scary . Crazy episode, RIP to the red queen Meleys and the queen who never was Rhaenys.

it is also mostly viserys' fault that he did not care about aegon and aemond, he had favored mostly rhaenyra. he should have spent time with his sons preparing them for their duties and such

Alicent raised Aegon in a repressive climate, for sure. But a lot of that is because that's how Alicent herself grew up. She was passing on generational trauma that she inherited from Otto. The show thus far has shown us multiple instances where, for example, Alicent went to Otto seeking emotional comfort. But he never gave her that. In turn, Alicent didn't know how to give that same thing to her kids either. BTW, where was that bum Viserys in all of this? What was dad doing? Nothing, that's what. There's even more of a failure on his end. Aegon was in many ways was cruel and self indulgent from the beginning. Not enough was done to discipline and guide him onto a proper path. Complicated characters all around. That's what makes this show so good.

Vhagar and Meleys are seasoned war dragons, especially Vhagar. That grandma has been around forever! As for Sunfyre, he's just a Rottweiler in Dragon form. I found it interesting that the dragons have kind of similar personalities to their riders. The fact that Drogon exists is a sign that Dany had a bloodthirsty side to her all along. Also yes, Aegon can't speak High Valyrian. XD Likely grew up as a passive speaker, where he can understand perfectly but his grammar / accent is horrible. Aemond undermined him in the worst way possible: as a Targaryen who can't speak High Valyrian.

I mean, The Mad King did kill his best friend's father and older brother and then demanded that the man who was taking care of them (Jon Arryn) send BOTH him and Ned to be killed, and even then it was Jon who said no and raised his banners. Also, if dragons were still around, likely, Robert, Renly (but he would've been too young to participate) and Stannis would've had their own because their grandmother was a Targaryen and as such they would've been given dragons of their own.

I loved how this episode showed why they are hesitant to let dragons loose, and Cole saw it. It's just mass destruction. I just feel bad for Aegon, just a useful idiot...until he's not. I also liked the foreshadowing of the dragon figure breaking in the beginning. The Daemon scenes are one the reasons people hate this season, they had no idea what to do with the character so he's just floating in limbo until they have use for him.
