Colour blindness is a X-linked Chromosomal recessive disorder ~ Given Females are XX and males are XY, this means that men are more likely to have colour blindness because they don’t have another X to fix this colour blindness mutation. Females as long as they have one normal gene even if they have the other with the colour blindness mutation the trait will not show ~
