NEWvember: Hors Birthday! (Patreon)

It's my birthday, so here's my most recent ponysona, Hors, and her baby photos!

My first "ponysona" was actually Midnight Premier, a young colt who was essentially my mascot at first. He was an actor who was figuring himself out; I literally made an OC village with character stories. It's deep, folks. I believe these OCs were initially created around 2013?

Here's some 2015 art of him!

He was followed by Lemon (left) and Little Bit (right). Lemon became another ponysona, but she was quickly replaced when I found out that her full name was,,, slightly nsfw. ;;;

So Dizzy Dreamer was born in November 2014! Kudos to anyone who gets the Coraline reference.

I didn't use my characters for too much personal art, but I would typically draw them all in groups. So you can't say that I had a favorite child!

In November 2017, my circles and styles were changing a bit, so I think I wanted a new look to capture that. And so I grabbed one of those quick "make an OC challenge" memes from the internet and came up with this dweeb:

This was the first character that I actually wanted to "officially" represent me, and not just my brand. And for some reason, that mindset makes OC creation so much harder. My solution was to just slap some colors together and throw on the placeholder name "Hors", haha. And as you can see, not much has changed! The wings, eye color, and hair floopy were the only tangible design changes. Except for, perhaps, that time when she became a bat.

(Why is it always the stupider drawings that I'm most satisfied with???)

Anyways, I hope you like the little OC journey! I'd love to incorporate more of my old characters into art eventually. Here's the devArt folder of all of my drawn characters<

See you in the next one!
