What a first date! 🤣

I love this duo, and I also love how they're slowly introducing us to Moriarty! I really hope to see him soon, and that he meets up with Sherlock!

I definitely see how House is based off of Sherlock, I see a lot of similarities, and I really enjoy seeing Watson's expressions 😅

Sherlock is definitely more physically adept than I was expecting, that was a surprise.

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Thank you so much everyone for your support, you are the best!!

FULL LENGTH - Sherlock Season 1 Episode 2 - The Blind Banker

You need your own copy of the show to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

I hope Mrs Hudson took in their takeaway, they’d be starving by the time they got back to the flat. Another entertaining watch along, and I remembered even less about this episode than the first one. I hope we get more Sarah, I really like her, they seem to make a great couple. I never realised there was a connection between Sherlock and House until you mentioned it last episode, but I can kind of see it. Elementary is another great Sherlock Holmes show.

Glad you loved this episode too, it is considered the weakest in regard of the plot, so it goes only up from here on. The scene where Sherlock and Watson cross Trafalgar Square was a great example of what I was talking about in last weeks comment. Then they could just take a small team and their two lead actors and shoot on one of Londons most popular tourist spots without having to close the square off (which would be, if not impossible, still very expensive) or causing a riot. After the phenomenal success of season one they couldn't do that anymore. Dr. Sarah will never go on a date again, because every other date will be terribly dull compared to this one...😅 Sherlock indeed has a network of homeless people and orphans in the novels, called the "Bakerstreet Boys". Please allow me a little bit of nitpicking: "House" isn't based on "Sherlock", it is older. The doctor isn't even based on the Sherlock Holmes of the novels, he is based on the (real existing) doctor that inspired Arthur Conan Doyle to create his detective...😇🤗 Thanks for letting me write this, it was the only way to shut up my inner "Monk" and now I'll shut up...🙏🏻🙊😅 I love Martin Freemans facial expressions. It is in large parts what earned him the role of "Bilbo Baggins". Peter Jackson said that he was wonderful to work with, as he offered a different mimic version at each take, never the same twice, so they had lot of options in the editing. Benedict Cumberbatchs voice is so fantastic. No wonder he was cast as Smaug. I remember being very excited when the casting was announced. As always looking forward to your next reaction...😊

Great job, I'm really enjoying being here. I'm new so still sorting the timing out. 😀 I believe the code is called an Auldendorf substitution code where you use a word from a specific book, edition. Its nearly impossible to break without the key

I'm glad you're enjoying it!! I try to keep to a constant enough schedule, so I hope it's easy to know when things will be out. Sometimes if I mess up the export or YT is being slow, it may be delayed by a few hours 😅

Finally got around to synching up Sherlock S1E2. Or trying to. I thought two phones would make it easier. Plus I could watch in bed, with an ace Bluetooth speaker on one. Was nicely synched at about the hour mark. Because the Amazon Prime version had a different start and slight different play speed? Anyway. Bloody worth it. :) What an amazing show, and great to "watch it with someone else." Great reaction. And although it's now 1am, and my teddy bears are complaining they need more hugs, I _know_ I'll go right on and finish series 1 straight away. This show just ticks all the boxes for me. And playing it with an intelligent commmentry from a new watch is a final box I didn't even know needed ticking when I first watched it. Thanks Vero. (Although I'll hate you for it on Monday when I'm Watson-levels of sleep deprived. ;) <3

Oh no, sorry to hear about the sync issues. I'm going to try to show a bit longer to help sync up. HAhaha it's hard to stop watching this show, I completely get it!! I'm so glad you're enjoying it with me. I'm sure your teddy bears will understand though :D
