Another reactr request coming at ya!

I'm quickly learning that I enjoy Clint Eastwood movies a lot. This story was just lovely and heartbreaking, but I absolutely loved seeing the characters smile. Those are the best moments, hands down.

I love a good drama, and this did not fail to leave an impression on me 🥰

There are just so many amazing things about this movie, from the narration to Maggie's determination, to Frankie's softening and letting someone get close.

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

FULL LENGTH REACTION | Million Dollar Baby (2004) [2025]

You need your own copy of the media to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

This movie hit hard in more ways than one. Thanks for reacting to this one.

Wow this one really tugged on your heart strings Vero. Her family were complete cockroaches weren’t they? This film raised some interesting moral dilemmas. Sometimes I think we treat our dogs better by putting them to sleep when their lives become agony. I think I support euthanasia. I wouldn’t want to live like that and I don’t think most people would either. One thing I wish this film did was explain what happened to the girl who gave her the sucker punch. Obviously she wouldn’t be charged with murder due to intent but I would hope she was stripped of her title and served at least some jail time. There was a case of a boxer who removed the padding from his gloves prior to a match. After winning the opposing team went to congratulate him and noticed how light his gloves were. Obviously he was disqualified and the police ended up charging him for every punch he threw during the match as a separate instance of assault so he had to serve jail time. The poor opponent was never able to fight again because he lost his eyesight due to the damage inflicted on his face during the match. OFC the cheater was never allowed to box again. It’s really hard to watch the match knowing the full story. They made an example out of him that this isn’t tolerated. You need to see a film called “Warrior”. It’s MMA with Tom Hardy and is a very emotional movie that would resonate with you Vero. You would love it. It has an extremely high rotten tomatoes score and I’ve never met anyone who disliked it.

Goodness Gracious girl, this movie killed me. I actually saw it in the movies and swore I'd never watch it again. I never cried so hard after a movie. I watched it again with you and I thought since I knew the ending that it would not impact me as much, well it did :( . The saddest movie I saw before this was a classic movie with the great Lana Turner from 1959 called imitation of Life.. Bye the way I 100% recommend that movie. But back to Million Dollar Baby, I like the audience in the movies was so excited when she was about to win the championship match, then that dirty fighter did what she did. But I can tell you in the movies and just today when Clint Eastwood's character told her the meaning of "Mo Chuisle," everybody loses it. It's a great movie and all three leads won Oscars at the Academy Awards. Client Eastwood has directed some emotional movies around this time and another one is Mystic River. He was a great actor and equally great director!

I appreciated how you connected to "Million Dollar Baby", my favorite film of 2004 being nothing but the great drama it is. Deeply exploring themes of struggle, redemption and human spirit. These characters feel real and their emotions pull you in leaving a lasting impact. I'd love to hear more about the moments that touched you most or why it means so much. It's great to share that with others. ✨👩🥇
