This was a reactr request made by Brad, and it was such a fun ride!!

A wild adventure with pirates, flying cars and more 🤣

It's definitely a really sweet and fun family movie, I can just imagine how much fun it would be as a kid.

The songs were catchy, the dancing was fantastic, and of course, the dog was adorable 🥰

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie.  You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

FULL LENGTH REACTION | Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968) [2025]

You need your own copy of the show to watch along with me though since this is solely my reaction. The video is there so you can have an idea when the scene changes in case you need to sync up, but it is HEAVILY blurred so I don't have any copyright issues. Enjoy!!

When did you say his 100th birthday was? December 13th?

Yes, "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" was based on a book by Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond, and the movie was made by the same producers who did the James Bond movies. You mentioned "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" in your intro. That was RDJ's first major role after getting out of prison for his drug addiction problems, and the role that convinced Marvel that he was a good enough actor to play Iron Man.....

People often mistakenly think this is a Disney movie. (It doesn't help that Dick Van Dyke also co-stars in that "practically perfect in every way" Disney classic, "Mary Poppins." Plus, the Sherman Brothers wrote the songs for both movies.) This was one of the many movies I grew up with. (I belong to the generation that was haunted by the child catcher.) I will say, as I got older, I couldn't help but notice the parallels between the second half of Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang and "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom."
