I'm glad to see that you got the book, I thought It would be a fun idea to send the physical books as you get through the series. The books does have a little more content in them as they give a closer look into the characters thoughts and some small extra scenes. Anyway I will make sure to leave some kind of note for another time!

Honestly, I find it unusual in this ep that Viren is the only one calling for blood. Sure WE know what's up, but they don't. For all they know the King was assassinated and the prince was kidnapped, that's not a slight any kingdom would ever just let go without retribution. He didn't seem like a bad king, so I just find it really weird that people are this chill about him being murdered in cold blood in his own home.

You really don't have to like Viren or anything, but if you're gonna loudly complain about him every time he's on screen, that's gonna get old real fast. He has a lot of screentime.

Not being eager to go to war with the elves is understandable, but it would have been a good idea for one of the characters to offer a reason not to contact the other human kingdoms. They could have been afraid of a takeover by one of them while Katolis is without a king and heir.

Without spoilers to answer your question about the end credits: from what I’ve seen they always reference characters and scenes either from the episode or things that were mentioned as one off lines and the credits always change. So just because a character may appear in the credits doesn’t always mean they’ll be important/reoccurring.
