The Number One Dime has been an important part of the mythos since the comics started, so you can bet there were a ton of long time fans who let out a horrified "Oh fuck!" at Louie taking it. And this episode has an especially good rewatch value when you know Scrooge was deliberately teaching him that lesson the whole time. The subject of the triplets' parents had been notoriously vague for nearly a century, with them just being called Donald's nephews with no further info, which is why Della is treated with such mystery here. And the arc is pretty well paced too, knowing exactly when to give us more information building off what we already know. Donald said in the first episode that Scrooge taking the kids on a dangerous adventure was "the Spear of Selene all over again," and now we find out Della stole it, whatever it is. And I'll just point out the answer actually is in that room, in plain sight.

"Project Blatherskite" was an Easter Egg for fans of the 1987 show.

Incredible that this is a Ducktales day lol. I ended up giving in and watching the show because I was enjoying it so much from these reactions, and I literally just finished the final episode. There's so much I'm looking forward to you seeing. I also read stuff on the wiki so if I remember I'll talk about a few neat references to the original series. Which I should probably watch at some point...

Aw, this is one of my favorite episodes of the season, and the Louie parts are the real highlight for me. To the point that I frequently forget about the Dewey and Webby B-plot. I really didn’t expect that you wouldn’t like them, it was disappointing hearing what you thought at the end. We all have different tastes though, and that’s not a bad thing. I just hoped you would like this more. I do really hope that this doesn’t turn into another Gravity Falls where you don’t enjoy the parts not focused on the overarching mystery, that being Della. Because like Gravity Falls, the characters are just as important as the mystery. So the episodic adventure of the day and the way the characters interact and grow is crucial to what makes this show great. The interesting, well paced mystery is just a great through-line, but it’s not the end all be all. Again, just like Gravity Falls. So while I’m sure you’ll be interested in the mystery, which is awesome, I just hope you’ll appreciate the parts not focusing on it just as much. I don’t know that you won’t yet, I just get a little worried that you saying you were only interested in Dewey and Webby’s plot and not Louie’s fits the pattern of you not really liking the episodes if GF that didn’t advance the mystery. I really don’t want that to happen with Ducktales too, especially because you were able to enjoy the first 3 episodes, which had nothing to do with Della. I’m sorry if this seems like I’m complaining or worrying for nothing. I’m not trying to do that. I’m just struggling to find the right words to convey my thoughts, which is something I struggle with a lot.

I love the contrast between you and Mosco, because she loved Louie’s parts in the story and I think this was made him her favourite triplet.

Great Reaction Elijah can’t wait for your next one I Absolutely Love Ducktales 2017 and you’re going to have so much fun with this show 🦆💰

I love your reaction to Gyro, he is actually an ally and suporting character to the duck family, the creators of the remake just woke up and chose violence turning him from a nice old, somewhat naive man into this young upstart reminiscent of a mad scientist and i love them for it

Great memories of the original show and love the 2017 remake. Love your reaction, Elijah 😉 👍🏻

Did you know… There is a short from 1963, “Scrooge McDuck and Money”, where Scrooge explains money and inflation to the triplets. In it he says that all his money in the Money Bin is just “walking around money”. Most of his fortune he invests and keeps in circulation, working for him. Now just imagine how much money he has if the Bin is just for “walking around”.

When you hear the dime story and say "it's cute" your missing some context, it's actually fucked up. See an American dime was basically worthless in Scotland so he more or less did all that work for free and got nothing out of it. It was this moment and his poor upbringing that Scrouge gained the mindset that everyone is going to screw you over and if you want to succeed you need to be tougher, smarter then everyone else around you

Gyro's comment on the robot going mad with power because the Wattage (the literal scientific unit of power) is too high is an underappreciated joke.
