That old lady certainly ripped a clump of her hair out, performed a blood ritual and now it's possessed by a spiritus. 😁

David Johnson

"This show could take many turns." Yes, yes it could.

og.monstr

Ooh, BTW, there's also what I'm pretty sure's supposed to be a sapphic couple down right by the Buff Guy Tinyhand statue.

og.monstr

I just realised the statue's depicting freakin' Odin. D'oh!😑

One of my favourite things about both Hilda and other settings with a modern setting but still including tons of magical stuff, is there's no avoiding the magical stuff. It's a part of their world. Honestly I'm jealous of these fictional characters lol

Bailey

Oh wow, that other commenter was right, that statue is Odin. That also explains why the townsfolk thought the raven was tied with him, cause Odin is associated with ravens. Two in particular, Huginn and Muninn, are his personal servants and spies. Odin's often depicted with them on each of his shoulders.

Flufux

The Great Raven lost his memory because someone threw a rock right on his head.

og.monstr

Yep: Odin, god of ravens. (And those who've been executed by being hanged in the gallows. Fitting being a god of corpses and carrion-feeders.) Huginn and Muninn personify his thoughts and his memory. All the more ironic that our little friend's got amnesia. 🙂
