This show was the passion project of independent animator Monty Oum, his big stab at an original story after a while of just making fight scenes with IP characters (which all completely kick ass just as much as these; just look up Dead Fantasy). Sadly, he died of a severe allergic reaction after just two seasons, at age 33, and ever since the show has been in the hands of his co-workers at Rooster Teeth, who have been very open that it takes all of them to approach the kind of badass work he could do on his own. Fan reaction to those seasons is extremely polarized, but I like them more often than not.

Kisuke01

The Red trailer is my favorite but that theme in the black trailer slaps.

FullmetalNinja25

Some Notes: 1.) This was a passion project by the late Monty Oum who sadly passed away in 2015 at the age of 34 due to an allergic reaction during surgery. 2.) Monty Animated the entire Red Trailer by himself as a Proof Of Concept, the other 3 he had help. 3.) Monty was working for Rooster Teeth as an Animation Director when he was given the chance to pitch his own show. 4.) Casey Lee-Williams who sings all the RWBY songs was only 12 years old here, she had remarkable range that young. 5.) Every Character is based upon a Fairy Tale. Ruby is Red Riding Hood, Weiss is Snow White (Her name Weiss Schnee in German is literally "White Snow") Blake is Beauty and The Beast (Which one? Yes) and Yang is Goldilocks.

FullmetalNinja25

Also the full writing on Summer Rose's gravestone says "Thus kindly I scatter".

Janice Marie Audio

The crew of this show is 100% cool with new fans reacting to the show in full, no need to edit anything. They love watching people’s reactions to this beloved series. As well, highly suggest reacting to the soundtracks after each volume because the songs give some insight into the characters (as well as foreshadow some things)

JJ the Wizard

I am so happy you're reacting to this show. I love these characters so much. Just wait till you're watching the show proper.

Pseudonym Poetry

The main cast are all great, but I have always had particular love for Yang and Blake. I'm so excited to see more of this!

Costia Rose

I joined from your arcane videos and I have waited seemingly forever for RWBY!!! I am so excited that you enjoyed the trailers!!!!! RWBY is possibly my favorite show of all time and I am super excited for you to get into it!!

SauceyRed

NO SPOILERS RWBY is actually heavily inspired by anime and was marketed as a western anime. Blake said goodbye because the other guy planned to plant bombs on the train, which would've killed the human crew members, which Blake disagrees with and is why she asked "What about the crew?" earlier. The names of the girls are Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang. Every weapon in the show has a name! The red and white girls in the Yellow trailer were, iirc, old concepts for Ruby and Weiss that they just put in there as an easter egg. A common saying within the RWBY community: "It's also a gun!" If you're interested in some more info about the show, I made a watch guide document for a group reaction channel I'm subbed to, it has info I think is most important for new reactors. It's incomplete, but it goes up to the end of volume (season) 3. Here it is https://docs.google.com/document/d/1okBiPLY1gF_rYWIRepBd-SCnxhx8bEXYVdzenLFIhE8/edit?usp=sharing

LikeCat

Amazing reaction, love to see you react to the whole show. You have noticed some important things that will come up later. Also yes ,,Red" and Yang are sisters, half-sisters to be more specific, on their father's side. (Side note but, she is already on the ,,bee train". I hope I'm not reading too much into it)

Paul O

The running joke of the show is "it's also a gun", in regards to the transforming weapons. Also, I highly recommend checking out the soundtrack after each season (on YT or on your own time). There are a lot of cool character insights in the songs.

Xylia

I think you will really enjoy this show very much and hope you do decide to react to it, whether it’s Patreon exclusive or YouTube as well!

Wixher

So excited to see you reacting to RWBY! To answer your question about why Blake was leaving at the end of the black trailer, you paused in the middle of the exchange and missed it cuz you noticed the giant robot sneaking around in the background. But the red-haired guy mentioned placing charges, and when Blake asked what about the people on the train he responded "what about them?" implying he didn't care if they died. She cuts him off from the rest of the train where (presumably) the crew/any passengers are at the end there, saving their lives.

Kaykic

I really hope this show makes the cut for youtube, but I'll be thrilled if it becomes the exclusive here, too.

NatMcK7

I love your reaction to this! I think you should watch this one on youtube too

Phineas97024

Each girl is based on a fairytale character. R - Little Red Riding Hood W - Snow White B - Beauty and the Beast Y - Goldilocks You’ll find that that’s a theme in this show. It’s fun to find the fairytale connections throughout.

Littlespider07

I hope you do a full reaction for this, its so good and has amazing music plus I think you will love the characters even more once you get to see more of them.

LikeCat

I still to this day find new inspirations behind the characters. There are the obvious ones (mainly the main characters), and there are the ones who when someone points it out I can see it, but I wouldn't found it out otherwise.

SK- Eferthigra

Ruby and Yang are half sisters same dad different mothers

SauceyRed

I'm honestly not sure how the copyright situation is atm with Rooster Teeth having shut down. Don't know how VIZ are gonna handle it. Also considering the episodes have been taken down from, as far as I can tell, all streaming platforms, I'm not sure how that affects anything.

SauceyRed

Blake is supposed to be both the Beauty and the Beast afaik

Janice Marie Audio

Also pretty sure several people have saved the entire series on like google drive or something and sent it to her, or something of the sort

Clayton NIese

I believe you will love it and should react to the rest of rwby. I'm hoping it is a patron reaction as well as youtube reaction because I love seeing the full reactions on patron

Marisa Maribel

I’m so excited for these, I’m a huge fan of RWBY! I hope this does well so much! I love all four of these girls, but my favorites are a tie between “Red” and “White”. I know someone else here has already spoiled their names, which isn’t a big deal considering it’s not some big spoiler to say their names. But I’m still going to stick with their colors instead of their names here just for formalities sake. Back when RWBY was new, none of us knew their names until their actual series debuts. So I want to pretend we’re back in those days, just because you’re new to this and it’s fun. Anyways, the Red and White trailers are also my favorite trailers as well as having my favorite characters. And as for the songs, it’s impossible for me to choose a favorite between the first three, ‘Red Like Roses’, ‘Mirror Mirror’, and ‘From Shadows’. They’re all such bangers! The Yellow trailer’s song ‘I Burn’ is also awesome, but it doesn’t rank as highly with me as the first three. Especially the version in the trailer. It’s super cool that the trailer has a remix medley of the first three songs before getting to ‘I Burn’, but the snippet of it is not as long as the full version, which I prefer. I’m so glad you enjoyed these trailers, I’m very much looking forward to seeing you react to the series!

Justin Stanford

Can’t wait for this! I love this series!!

Janice Marie Audio

One of my favorite bits about RWBY is guessing their allusion

KimSea009

wow your gay/bidar are going off really early in regards to bumblebee

Sylrimba

This show is remarkable, and the payoff as you go through the later seasons is amazing. It would be a great Patreon exclusive.

Janice Marie Audio

You’ll DEFINITELY get the views on this series on YouTube. It’s really popular to react to. Also, THE FNDM’s STARVING for new reaction content

LikeCat

Listening to Indomitable, praising VIZ for picking up this masterpiece. Monty would be proud.

Liam Gradwell

Elijah barely knows them and already, she loves Blake and Yang! Hell Yes, I knew she would. 😆🎉❤️

fluffqueen91

*foams at the mouth* I'm SO glad you liked the trailers this much! The girls are wonderful and deserve all the love. I hope you'll be able to watch the full show so you can get to know them and see how much they grow throughout the seasons! I flip between having Yang and Ruby as my fave out of the four! I also have a few faves out of the adults ofc, but I'll scream about them if/when we get there. ^_^

song sl

Wow yes!! Finally!! I’m so excited for you to react to this show! RWBY has been my favorite show for years now! The lore, the plot, the development, the fighting scenes… Everything about it is just *chef’s kiss* I personally think it will do well on but You Tube and on Patreon because it’s such an awesome show and truthfully all the reaction videos are kinda repetitive lately, so it’s a refreshing (much needed) change! 😄 Also I recommend listening to the lyrics of the songs because they all have meanings and are not only bangers (especially listening to the intro songs). Also, like people here have mentioned, RWBY has a strong lore of fairytales, and I think most characters are based off of a fairytale or fairytale character. Honestly, to this day I still find new hints I wasn’t aware of or Easter eggs or things that will come up in future seasons, which indicates how much thought was given to creating this show and its plot for the long run and not just “we’ll see how this season goes and think what to do in the next season later”.. And BTW in RWBY it’s not season, it’s volumes (again, fairytale, anime vibes). One final thing, I recommend keeping an eye out for *small details* because you might not think about it much now but in later volumes who knows 😉 (although you’ll definitely understand if you’ll do rewatches at some point). CANT WAIT to see you react to the rest of the show! 🤩🤩

Octavia

I hope rwby goes on YouTube but even if it doesn't, so long we at least get a patreon exclusive reaction, I'll be happy. I'll stay subscribed for rwby for sure

jessie H

Everything is a gun, Yang is awesome. There are two golden retrievers and a chaotic gremlin. I hope you enjoy the show!

Nightowl

If this corresponded to actual facts about any characters, one might consider this a major spoiler.

Verdant Crown

My girls! I love them all so much (but especially Yang). As a longtime fan of this show I really hope that it does well on the channel and I had a great time watching the reaction to the trailers. I'm also a longtime fan of Critical Role/Vox Machina though so I hope that both of them make the cut.

bloodyshadow1

I used to follow you hear but had to stop due to money problems. But now that things are pretty good I promised myself to subscibe again when you started to react to rwby or vox machina, two fo my favorite shows. nothing against hilda, but I hope one goes to youtube and the other is your patreon show

Phoenix_mercury

That song reminder hurt(no I can't listen to it without sobbing tyvm)

Whaf03

The songs in the show are written by Jeff Williams and sung by his daughter Casey Lee Williams. Casey was only 12 when she started recording for RWBY.

Martin E Melcher

Not shocked she enjoys Blake and Yang but we'll get there. Just be wary on this one, reactors had issues with copyright in the past. Was RoosterTeeth but now that they're dissolved it may still be WB

Dafydd Mac an Leigh

Not Belle: ♪Black, the Beast, descends from shadows...♫

I just wanna add real quick because everyone else gave awesome information; Ruby’s VA is Lindsay Jones, they’re nonbinary and use they/them pronouns. Lindsay’s voice acting is fucking amazing and if you’re gonna give them love I just wanna make sure you know! 💜 I am beside myself I’m so so so excited for this reaction!

Flufux

You have heard Blake's voice actress (Arryn Zech) before. She voiced the Black Swan in the 'Rondo Across Countless Kalpas' video you reacted to some time ago.

Dafydd Mac an Leigh

In case you feel you want to ship any of these girls: Ruby x Weiss is "White Rose" or, less commonly, "Ice Flower" Ruby x Blake is "Ladybug" Weiss x Blake is "Monochrome" or, less commonly, "Checkmate" Weiss x Yang is "Freezer Burn" Yang x Blake is "Bumbleby" Weiss x Blake x Yang is "Bee's Schnees" Ruby x Weiss x Blake is "Newspaper"

Phineas97024

Nope. RWBY is owned by Viz media now. WB is out of the picture.

Christopher Malone

huggggh, as much as I love Vox Machina there is a reason why RWBY has lasted this long, I really hope they make it through nothing against Hilda I just have not watched, may have to check it out. But regardless of the choice you cannot go wrong with RWBY or LoVM. I will say this, if you do LoVM try to watch at least a few episodes of Critical Role Campaign One as that is the D&D 5e Lets Play that inspired it

Um… I think Elijah senses something with Blake and Yang. I don’t think she realizes it yet but she will.

Nova Blaschke

Yay! Joined patreon in case it ends up an exclusive but I'll watch it either place!

Littlespider07

Fr people in the comments be spoiling already and she hasn't even started the actual show yet. People be talking like she finished the whole series. STOP dropping character names and implying stuff from later seasons! Let her enjoy the discovery of a new show!

Alexis Cardillo

Yes! The day has come you are reacting to RWBY! I have been waiting since that poll that had RWBY on it, I knew one day it would happen and it has at last come! I was waiting to join your patron once you're reactions to it started, I didn't want any of your thoughts and reactions to this amazing series, it holds a special in my heart. You're going to love our main girls, see already loving Blake and Yang, :D and once you get to know our girl in red, you will love her too. The world of RWBY is very interesting, sort of a rough mix of fantasy and sci fi and every character is loosely based or inspired by a fairy tail character, a legend, a folk lore, and classic stories, examples such as our main girls are Red Riding Hood, Snow White, Beauty AND Beast (you'll understand as you get through the first Vol), and Goldilocks. And the soundtracks are absolute bangers! Definelty check them out as you finish each volume for each one has a soundtrack, whether on your own or do reactions to them for the songs really expand on the characters and gives you a look into more of the characters besides what you see. I will leave one more rule to remember regarding the weapons of RWBY "its also a gun"

RavenFairy

Keep on watching don’t forget to watch the mini episodes in each season they are the world building for the show and give extra hints for characters that you know and don’t, when I started watching your show I was hoping that you could do this show and it’s here finally.

DungeonMosh

Long time RWBY fan! I cannot wait see you dive into this show more. It holds a special place in my heart, I will pass word of your reactions to other RWBY-loving friends as they have been wanting to do a re-watch for some time and so have I! So we will follow along here and on YouTube!

Zora Brightwood

Blake and Yang are my faves too. If you watch this series I'll end up going back to this fandom bc I miss it honestly it's been a while for me. Also, Yang obviously means light and Blake is actually Old English for Black. Each character you see in this show has their own weapon that was practically made for them. Also with the White trailer, those symbols are called glyphs similar to the glyphs from Owl House.

NeoScarlet

Super excited for RWBY reactions. This show means a lot to me and while both the show and the fandom have had their ups and downs over the years, this show has so much heart and creativity to it and has definitely had a major impact on me. If I could give one spoiler-free piece of advice, definitely pay attention to all the details in this show and ask questions about why things are the way they are or even have certain visual appearances. RWBY has long been rich with theorycrafting about the characters and the world, and it would be so cool to hear your predictions as you watch more of the show. (Also, the soundtrack, aside from just being incredibly fire all the time, also likes to hide bits of information in the lyrics)

Brandon Dodge

So, the gravestone in the Red Trailer says: Summer Rose Thus kindly I scatter I believe this is in reference to The Last Rose of Summer, a Poem written in 1805 by Irish Poet, Thomas Moore.

LikeCat

Elijah, will you be reacting to the first episode of RWBY (as an introdution) or just the trailers?

Riley Thatcher

I hope you continue this series it is the bomb!

Natasha Grimm

Fortunately, according to a members livestream, she's already several episodes ahead, so these idiots aren't spoiling much

Jessica

Big RWBY fan here so excited to see you react finally to this amazing show!! Just a fun little gem the voice actress for Blake is the same one for Black Swan in Honkai Star-rail which you have reacted to! Also Blake is my favourite character for many reasons but I love Yang too ☺️

Mitch

So excited that you are finally reacting to RWBY, been hoping to see your reaction to it for some time. Some things to look forward to and help explain the series. It's basically a science fantasy story that takes a lot of influences from action adventure anime. almost all of the characters are basically anime reimaginings of famous characters from various folklore and fairytales and every weapon can turn into other weapons. The show does have several LGBT characters though most of them you won't meet until later volumes

xmiyah

RWBY is one of my all time favorite series and I have been waiting FOREVER to see you react to it. The world and characters are so interesting and unique and the story I absolutely ADORE!! the OST is also full of so many bangers (as you probably heard during watching the trailers) and I cannot wait to see more of your reactions to RWBY if you decide to continue it, either here or on YT!! I am glad you are liking it already are and hooked :) It only gets better from here and it is one hell of a ride.

TheeInnerWill8

I have waited, FOR SO LONG for this, also rewatching the trailers reminds me of why i get into this series and I'm so exichred to see the reactions, I've been waiting since She-ra for this. Really looking forward to this, and the name for the character in White is Wiess you can hear it but barely the audio. Also, not surprised she's a bumblebee fan

Phil

I singed up for RWBY, the 1st season is a little rough, but they had low budgit and only one person doing the work. After that from season 2 onwords, it's awsom. Not gonna say anything about the characters you saw, as spoilers. Can't wait for you to start releasing these vids.

Johnny Daulton

You are gonna be glad you started this.

Littlespider07

Really I thought she was doing this to see what we are watching before starting a new series

Lana

It brought me to tears watching this. The trailers themselves aren’t emotional, but I’ve been with RWBY since the beginning, watching the show grow and the company grow through incredible hardships. RWBY came from simple roots, from the mind of one man (who has tragically passed), and somehow grew to have a huge fan base, 9 seasons, 9 original, badass soundtracks, and even survived the closure of Rooster Teeth (the company that made the show). Watching these trailers again, accompanied by your innocent and intrigued reaction was amazing! Like experiencing everything for the first time again. There’s so much history with RWBY that I hope you’ll take the time to look into if you continue watching. I don’t know what you will decide to do in terms of your new shows, but I know RWBY will be a wild ride for you and, hopefully, your platform! I have a strong feeling you’ll fall in love with it the way I and many others did.

Max

haha, the RWBY trailers are a gateway drug, and they just snagged another

Luna

So excited to see you watch this. So I will say every character is based off a fairytale character or a mythical character (except one team I think, those are based off of supporter’s OCs) As for the characters you’ve gotten three names, Weiss schnee (white, you could barely hear it at the very beginning), Blake and yang I want to say something about yang and red’s relationship but it’s borderline spoilers (considering it’s mentioned in episode one) Ontop of RWBY main, there’s the world of remnant series that goes into depth on certain aspects of the universe, then there’s cheby which I recommend watching after volume three I will say this last parting part, you are gonna lose your head at how good this show is

Not-So-Average-Fangirl

Have reacted up to episode 7! The edits will just gradually be posted along with my other content 😄

RetroBeastto

Very happy you’re reacting to this series. It definitely does need more love as it started off as small independent series but grew over time. Also this series falls in a weird area as it’s not an anime but it slowly became one as it grew in popularity.

Goliver the weird Druid

It's amazing that you are reacting to RWBY Here is som non spoiler information: Most named characters in this show are based on fairytales, mythology, folktales and even memes, the designs, some story elements and personalities are inspired by those tales. The music is important to make the show better, it was written by Jaff Williams and the singer of most of the songs is Casey Lee Williams, the songs in the first volume she recorded when she was 13-14 and the lyrics help to tell more about the characters they are about and their connections. I recommend reacting or even listening to the OST after every volume.

Jittercritter

Absolutely phenomenal series with lovable characters and a near-unrivaled soundtrack. Considering how much you paid attention to things like sound ques in Arcane I think you’ll absolutely love how lore-heavy the songs in RWBY are. They’re worth an entire reaction series in their own (in fact many people DO make reaction+analysis videos of each seasons’s soundtrack after they finish the season, and given your analytical skills I highly recommend you do the same at least for s1 to try it). RWBY is probably tied with Attack of Titan for my second favorite show so I’d be absolutely thrilled if you proceeded with this one.

James Parry

You'll thoroughly enjoy RWBY. That is all :)

Jittercritter

I don’t usually join paid patreon tiers but I absolutely need to see your RWBY reactions unedited haha! You probably might have to edit the music to get it onto YouTube and music is too big of a part of RWBY’s soul for me to be satisfied with that. Already you are more than meeting expectations, I absolutely loved how many details you noticed (this show has mad foreshadowing and you already noticed some of it!!). Also hmmm, Blake and Yang as immediate favorites? Those two were my bisexual awakening so I’m not surprised in the slightest, and yes Arryn Zech (VA if Blake) has a gorgeous voice. Your in-depth watching style and love of analyzing characters will be right at home with this show I think. Love that you already noted the very deliberate differences in fighting style, weapons, and character designs as well as the differences in what each character was fighting. Thanks to their very limited budget (especially at first but even in the latest season) RoosterTeeth had to cut a LOT down so what little screen time any given thing (characters, relationships, songs, etc) get had to be very carefully chosen (as did what DOESNT get shown! A lot of people overlook this but RWBY does a good job and giving you information based on what is blatantly left out sometimes). There’s also a lot of important information and foreshadowing in the music. So this is a show that definitely rewards analysis and attention to detail, because thanks to their budget and limited recourses they needed to be good at giving you enough to fill in some blanks yourself. It’s also why FNDM has one of the strongest fanfic creator bases I’ve ever seen—lots of different interpretations and directions to explore! It’s funny, Arcane is a show that does a lot of ambiguity by choice whereas RWBY is a show that does a lot of ambiguity by necessity. It’s kind of an interesting comparison and it’s why I knew all that time ago, while I was seeing your Arcane reactions for the first time, that you would make absolutely banger RWBY reactions as well! Really hope you proceed with this show 💜

Jittercritter

One of the many things I love about seeing new reactors get into RWBY is how much we old fans enjoy dumping the lore of the shows actual creation onto them haha! You don’t get information like this handed to you for most other shows, in fact it’s often quite difficult to get information about how a show was made, so it’s actually pretty cool that so much of the RWBY fandom knows the deets and can inform new fans about where RWBY came from, and how it got to where it is now. Seeing Casey grow as an artist has been absolutely amazing, The Edge is probably my favorite song ever.

Jittercritter

I forget how hype they are, and also how phenomenal they are at setting up the characters and foreshadowing the story. Like holy crap, if you pay attention to the details they actually tell you a crap ton in these trailers. For as much as people like to complain nowadays I don’t see nearly enough appreciation for how good RT was at using limited screen time to get a toonnnnn of information across. These are just as fun to rewatch with the benefit of hindsight as they were to watch the first time!

Jittercritter

“The goal isn’t to live on forever; it’s to make something that does.” –Monty Oum Loosely watched the first 3 seasons in elementary but couldn’t fully appreciate it as a kid, gave the show my first proper watch in middle school and to at the least, RWBY helped me through a lot. I ended up using that Monty Oum quote as my senior quote in school and it remains my favorite quote ever to this day. It really changed the way I view creative works and life in general—it’s the reason I firmly believe the highest compliment anyone can receive is to hear the words ‘you’ve inspired me.’ If that’s the goal, Monty Oum succeeded at life with flying colors for sure. This show has such a special place in so many hearts, I really hope she proceeds with it!

LikeCat

My fav is Indomitable (espessially once I listened to the soundtrack one and accualy GOT what it is saying), and yes I still cry a river every time I listen to it.

Sam

Absolutely loved seeing the trailers again! I was hoping you’d like Blake aha 🖤

Butterfly Warrior

So so so excited for this! NSAFs can we please make this show work for her on the YT algorithm? It is such a fun watch and has been my favorite show since discovering it. Time for some non spoiler fun facts about this show! -As you already figured out yes every character is supposed to make you think of a color and their names do correspond to this color naming rule. -Each character is also inspired off of a fairytale, mythology, or sometimes even random things in life. That’s one of the fun things you can analyze for this show. -The OSTs for this series are also very important to this series. They provide further insight to character inner thoughts, the situation at hand, and also are just fun to rock out with. They are all sung and played by a father daughter duo until later volumes, with a couple featured voices here and there. -Each weapon is part melee (like a sword) and part range (like a gun or bow). Some even have more than two transformations. Anyways that’s all the non spoiler info I can give you right now. I really hope this show does well on YouTube and I hope you enjoy the wonderful world of RWBY!

Sam

I’m so hyped rn ❤️🤍🖤💛

BrightHeart

In terms of Voice Actors: Ruby - Lindsay Jones Weiss - Kara Eberle Blake - Arryn Zech Yang - Barbara Dunkelman

ELS_Art

I love this so much! This has been the day we’ve been waiting for! 🤭 As a LONG LONG time RWBY fan I could tell you so much and Answer all your questions but I would also love for you to watch the whole show and find out for yourself. As someone who watched the show as it was coming out and with the recent closure of Rooster Teeth and the unsure future of RWBY this brings so much joy seeing my favorite reactor watch the show that took me from being introverted to having friends and even my fiancé. Some things I can tell you. -Everything is a fun, 🤣 It’s a running joke but about nine out of ten weapons in the show have a firearm form. -The character in the white trailer does keep her scar and all four trailers are canonical and play into the show in small and large ways. -All four characters are voiced by four amazing voice Actors that were just friends and coworkers of the shows creator Monty Oum. Ruby Rose(she/her) -Lindsay Jones (They/Them) Weiss Schnee (she/Her) - Kara Eberle (she/Her) Blake Belladonna (she/Her) - Arryn Zech (They/Them) -Black left Adam cause Adam was gonna kill the crew aboard the train and yes those symbols on the train were the same as the second trailer. Yang Xiao Long (she/Her) - Barbara Dunkelman (she/Her).

Phoenix_mercury

Note about the music is fascinating especially considering theirs ost reactions

lumarie

omg if you react to RWBY I would literally be reliving a part of my childhood lol I haven’t watch RWBY in YEARS

DarkGodHao

WARNING!!! Do NOT put the RWBY reactions on YouTube, you will most likely get copyright strikes to hell for the music alone, especially with RWBY changing studios

BrightHeart

One question I have how she'll do the Volume 1 reactions. As they're pretty short and split up into part 1 and 2s. I know one reactor did 1, 2, 3 in a single video then chapters 4, 5, ,6, 7, 8 in the next. While others just did chapter 1, then 2/3, 4/5 and so on.

KroganHorse

RWBY is my favorite show and you are one of my favorite reactors so I'm very excited to see you react to it!

James Long

Yep, I'm totally here for this. Love RWBY.

Madison

I am totally in for this I love Rwby and I can’t wait for you to watch to because I love Rwby and you will to

Zora Brightwood

Also rewatching this reaction I realized that our resident W character is pretty similar to Amity from Owl House.

David Luksch

I usually just like the video, because when I write a comment, I risk it being the length of a light novel, but I love RWBY so much, and I hope it will be the winner, so here goes my attempt to keep it short and to the point... I didn't know there is still somebody from my fav reactors who didn't see RWBY yet. RWBY is the show that got me started with watching YouTube reaction videos. Misery loves company, and there are points in the show that emotionally destroyed me. (The second wave of subs to reactors was after I watched Arcane.) Your reacting experience was really shown in this vid. "It's also a gun." is a kind of running gag in the show. And you are right, the songs tell stories - history, emotional state of the characters etc. The same goes for the songs in the show itself, and they are usually used in a badass fight scenes similar to the trailers. You might even do separate reactions to the soundtracks for each season, since with the fast action going on at the same time, it is hard to focus on everything all at once. Also - a good catch with the snowflake logo between the white and black trailers - there is a connection :) I am not surprised you love Blake. And her voice. Arryn Zech's voice acting is amazing and makes for some hilarious moments. And Blake as a character goes through a great development during the story. All the girls do, but I like her character arc the most. Bear with the animation for the first few seasons (including "shadow people" - you will know when you see them...), the software used for the animation was changed from Poser to Maya between seasons 3 and 4 and the team got more experience. You can also see (or in this case hear) improvements to VAs since some of the voice actors had little to no experience when the show started. Between RWBY and The Legend of Vox Machina, there is no wrong choice. I would love either of them as a YouTube reaction or a Patreon exclusive. I think you might personally enjoy RWBY more, but I understand - algorithm rules supreme. PS: I am always pleasantly surprised when a reactor mentions other reactors I follow and get inspiration from each other. I like this about the reactors' community here. And Letts React are amazing reactors, I love their content, and they are one of only three channels I ever subscribed to on Patreon - the other two being Not-So-Average-Fangirl and Wee Lass Reacts :)

The grave says "Summer Rose" and "Thus Kindly I Scatter"

Verdigree

Funnily enough, you HAVE heard Blake's actor before in a video, Arryn Zech plays Black Swan in Honkai: Star Rail, you saw the video where she and Acheron had a very romantic first meeting and shared a dance (and very intense telepathic moment)

Verdigree

Absolutely no spoilers, but the key thing about what Blake chose was, they were on that train, and the guy tells her "Set the charges", and she's like, "What about the crew?", and he's like, "What about them?"

Joey Quixote

I've never watched this show, but I'm looking forward to the reactions. I've been aware of RWBY since it first launched. I was big into Rooster Teeth's flagship show Red Vs. Blue at the time and Monty Oum had just come on board, helping RvB make the jump from machinema to a full series. The fight choreography he did for that show was insane! But this... this blows that out of the water!

James Long

For Volume 1 reactions, I recommend doing multiple episodes at once. Some are just really short. The show was super low budget at the beginning.

Phoenix_mercury

Unless their CPRing has changed this shouldn't be the case, rwby was one of the few things that was known for having a great time with reactors including the music(theirs literally soundtrack reactions)

og.monstr

Oh, really, Elijah, the sassy catgirl's your fave? Shocker. Real shocker. 😈

I'm so excited that you're starting your RWBY journey with us, Elijah! Also Red's name is Ruby and White's name is Weiss! Ruby and Yang are bio sisters, same dad but different mom, and they're very protective of each other! All four girls are my favorites!

Johnny Daulton

The grave stone reads, Summer Rose Thus Kindly I Scatter

Madison

I can’t wait until you react to the episodes and you are going to love the episodes and the songs of the episodes to

Henkotron

I haven't watched RWBY yet. So I am gonna first-time react together with you Elijah

kywolf55

I absolutely love rwby

Scott

This is definitely one of my favorites! And this was a good reminder that Yang is one of the few heroes that terrifies me

Ko Villa

I love that you checked out the trailers, the music is beyond phenomenal

acenerdsbian

You should absolutely take some time at the end of each season to closely listen to the soundtrack if you can find it. (there's some copyright issues rn as the series shifts ownership, so that may be more difficult than usual) But seriously, the music plays such a huge part in fleshing out the story and it really enhances the experience if you treat it as a part of the show to pay close attention to like the animation or story.

NeurovascularEntrapta

I came over from tumblr to youtube, then to patreon cause I love love love when new people join the FNDM

NamelessSoul

I am so unbelievably excited to watch your reacts to this!! I love RWBY so dearly, I have been watching since it first came out (which I cant believe was over 10 years ago now 😱). The music is phenomenon the story is so interesting and cool. I know I'm a bit behind but I can't wait to catch up and see your reacts as you go cause man this series go 0-100. Love to the FNDM ❤️🤍🖤💛

Artemis Delphinia

I enjoyed your Arcane reactions a lot and saw you reacted to RWBY which is probably my favorite animated show to exist and had to come see these reactions. So far I love and am impressed that you noticed some details A LOT of people have missed just in the trailers and I'm here for it.

Silverbell_TTV

You noticed the scar! So many people miss that! The White Trailer is my absolute favorite. It made me sure she was going to be my favorite character. Buuut I wound up liking someone else more. I still have a soft spot for her though just because of how much the White Trailer touched me. Also, I didn't catch that movement behind Blake and her partner when he opens the crate until just this month when I was watching volume 1 again for the umpteenth time, and I've been watching Red vs Blue and RWBY for many, many years.

TheRavenWanderer

Just coming back to rewatch this whole series. You were a destined for the Bees from the start lol.

Cinder's Apologist

going back through some of these old ones just for fun... and seeing this one again, I can't help but giggle at how you noted the Black and Yellow Trailers were longer and were like "does that mean these two girls are important?" OH YOU HAD NO IDEA BACK THEN LMAOOOO also the Yang hype, which was the reason I had to revisit this one. nothing like falling for a badass girl cuz she grabbed a man by the balls and then punched out his entire club XD

ml

lmao you are so bees-coded girl I had the exact same reaction like you when I first saw the trailers come out

Rod

Just a minor difference, I’d say inspired by as there little of the base fairy tale

ScottAttack24

Why do I have to pay on vimeo just to watch something I'm already paying on patreon

Octavia

So crazy to watch this first reaction and to see how quickly she latched on to the bees and began to see the subtle hints already.

David Johnson

Watching this again since you moved everything over...and I'm still noticing new things in these trailers...like the two-second view of Roman talking to Junior as Yang is walking in.

Rain

Going back and watching this again, its funny to see her sapphic senses tingling from just the trailers XD
