The big issue was the creator died after just two seasons, and it took a whole crew to even approach replicating his animation skill, and they couldn’t keep it up forever.

Been following Hilda on Patreon cause I like the full reactions, but I can engage with the YouTube uploads as well. I do lose out on any in-editing gags or bits by staying on Patreon I guess.

Really hoping for RWBY this time. It's an absolutely amazing show and one I've been obsessed with lately. Can warn you though that it has a loud hatedom for whatever reason, and they can be obnoxious, but that really shouldn't stop you from watching it yourself.

Yeah another reaction channel has had the same issue, they did the first two seasons of She-Ra, but dropped it due to it being their worst-performing show, which is really sad but true. I haven't really engaged with the YouTube channel since I joined Patreon, but I guess I'll from now on just put the reactions I watch in the background while watching the uncut. I do think the strategy of watching the first episode of each show, but I'm not sure how effective that would be, since first episode reactions usually do very well regardless. I think three episodes would make for a better sample size, but I understand that it's a bit unfeasable.

Honestly Vox Machina is my fave of these 3, but I do admit the first two episodes aren't the greatest, they're basically intros from before the Campaign they're adapting in the later episodes.

Yeah very subjective. I personally liked each volume more than the last, with V7-9 being my favorites. I actually find the first 2-3 to be my *least* favorite, purely because everything that comes after is so much more interesting to me. Doesn't mean I don't *like* them, those first few are still very good, just not as good as the later ones imo. And I don't mind the fights looking worse than Monty's, tbh I didn't even notice when I watched the show. Story-wise, the current writers were close with Monty and they talked a lot, so they know a certain amount of what he envisioned. I really love how the story has progressed.

I really hope you watch RWBY! It's been hard finding fun reactions to RWBY aside from just a few specific episodes. It would definitely have me subscribing for the long term. Fingers crossed RWBY at least comes in second place! Some people whine about how the plot shifted and claim it's not what the creator would've wanted, but if you end up watching the series, I encourage you to form your own opinions and (hopefully) enjoy it for what it is! ^_^

I haven't seen Vox Machina but it looks interesting, and I used to be a big fan of RWBY but kinda fell off from it over time. I still like it, it just doesn't hold my interest like it used to. But Hilda is a really cute show and I'm really hoping you stick with it, even if it becomes a Patreon Exclusive. Although I'd still prefer it to be on Youtube, because it's a really underrated show more people should check out. Apparently the last season got cut a little short because it didn't do as well as Netflix wanted. I'm not sure if that's true, I'd have to check, but either way it's one of those shows that may not get high numbers, but most of the people who have seen it really love it.

Well I can guarantee that if you pick Vox Machina and RWBY as your YouTube reactions I’ll watch both! I have been a fan of both shows since day ONE! RWBY is such an amazing show that all spawned out of the passion project of one talented creator and grew to something amazing that so many talented creatives had a hand in. Starting with four trailers the show would go on to span nine volumes (with hopefully more in the way) countless spin off’s and crossovers and even survived the closure of it’s original parent company Rooster Teeth earlier this year. RWBY at its core is a show that has inspired so many and built a large community of dedicated fans. The Legend of Vox Machina! Is another show with an amazing Origin story. One of the largest crowd funded series in history. A bunch of nerdy ass voice actors, a term of endearment amongst the shows community, gathered together to play Dungeons and Dragons every Thursday night. So many people tuned in that “Critical Role”, the live play D&D show The Legend of Vox Machina is based off of, became a phenomenon! After ending their first campaign and moving onto a second one the talented cast of Voice actors who played the game had an amazing ideal about turning a bit of their first campaign into an animated special, that was originally supposed to only be one episode. Butt the fan base had something else in mind as the Kickstarter to make the animated special surpassed it’s fundraising goal in less then twenty four hours and kept going. Soon what was only supposed to one animated special ballooned into a thirteen episode long season. Once Amazon heard about Critical Roles fundraising success they matched the funding and before season one even aired on Amazon prime it was green lit for a second season. Now with both seasons one and two having aired their is no signs of slowing down as Season three is set to air later this year and Critical roles second campaign “The Mighty Nein” is also to receive it’s own animated show sometime next year! Elijah, both these shows are amazing and should hopefully do well on YouTube or Patron. All I can say is no matter what you go with I can’t wait to watch alongside the rest of your community.

I don’t know much about Vox Machina, cause I’ve never watched. But if you do decide to watch RWBY, I think you should start after you get through Season 2 of Hilda. You basically just started that show, and you’ve also got Ducktales and Dragon Prince in your schedule. So maybe when you have less on your table, would be the best time to add something new.

I love Hilda and feel you will more as you get deeper in. But if it's not performing well, best to put it aside. With Vox, a new season drops in October, so with the timing, you'd benefit from an algorithmic bump on YouTube as people look for content. RWBY, however, seems to have the largest following, and judging by your members stream, your interest and enthusiasm. One of the best parts of following a reactor is when they watch something they're truly invested in. I've never watched it, but for these reasons, I think RWBY is your best bet.

Been waiting for RWBY for a long time, but with all that's going on right now with RT gone might be best to wait on that, Vox machina should be good for a laugh and I hope you will still do Hilda, Also there are four trailers for RWBY you have to watch them all first to really get into and enjoy the music that came with it. I reckon making hilda the next patreon exclusive might be best, hilda is a relatively small show so it makes sense that it might not draw as much attention as other fandoms. I love hilda but if it's not going to perform well on YouTube having it as an exclusive and than having the more popular shows on YouTube makes sense.
