Ryan

Leave it to the people behind Korrasami to give us another legendary “Wait, ARE they?” slow burn lesbian ship.

Moonlight Mariposa

God I was so excited to see how'd you react to Ethari and Ruunan and you absolutely did not disappoint. I'm Sapphic and I'm sad is probably one of the best ways to describe my experience watching the dragon prince

Andy

Amaya is also the little sister of a queen

The Akimbo Knight

Just a little info for the future, the elf (with glasses) translating for Amaya is nonbinary, also your reaction to Runaan and Ethari was better than I was hoping !!

Dark Siri

The elvish mounts remind me of kirin.

BlueEyedRaven

The Sunfire Elves speak with a African-French accent.

jessie H

Callum’s Elf impression is my favorite. Never fails to make me laugh

LikeCat

If you want more of these two gay men just search ,,Ruuthari fanart". Trust me you won't be disappointed. I just KNEW you would lose your mind when you learnt about them.

Serinthia Kelberry

You want Amaya and Janai, huh? Interesting thought...I suppose we'll see... ...maybe...

Suplee215

Basically the light they used is magic. If an unpure heart looks into it they burn up.

Sneep

If you're wondering about the whole Sunfire Elves = French accent. It's because they're loosely based off Africans, many regions of which had French colonies, resulting in a lot of African Countries speaking French, or having French accents.

Flufux

During the interrogation, Amaya said: "Why don't I grab your fire sword and ram it up your back end?"

Ashley Silver

Sunfire Elves speak with West African French accents. At a TDP SacAnime panel, I asked Racquel Belmont and Jason Simpson what accents their characters would use if they disguised themselves as Elves. Racquel said Claudia would put on a Cockney accent and Jason said Viren would just put on a surfer dude voice as a way to talk down to them. Make of that what you will.

Liam Gradwell

The Amaya/Janai ship is strong with this one. 😆 Also yeah. We’ve finally got to meet Rayla’s adoptive gay dads. They’re just so beautiful. I’m Bi and I’m Sad. 😢🌈

Kyris L

The Sunfire elves have a lot of sun, fire, and gold in their design and decor, as well as their magic, so think of the ritual with the staff as a symbolic purifying by fire/light like they do with gold in real life.

RibKoboldScout

Ethari was actually in the credit sketches way back in season one, though nothing was known about him at the time

Joey Quixote

This reaction delivered! We've been eagerly awaiting this one in the Discord. The interrogation scene, Runaan & Ethari as a couple, and Viren gaslighting his children. You did not disappoint! Fantastic! Your Sunfire Elf? Her name appeared in the credits. Additionally, I wouldn't normally spoil, but I know using correct pronouns is very important to you, and I don't think it's ever explicitly stated in the show. The translator, Kazi, uses they/them.

Miholiday

We also got introduced to another queer character in this episode! Kazi, the Sunfire elf translator, is nonbinary!!

Ryan

Elijah: "I will not simp, I will not simp, I will not simp..." Janai: *speaks* Elijah: *simps* Is she, y'know (gay gesture) a cunning finguist? "Happy, living, and not in danger!" Same one sapphic couple that actually has all three. You get two, at most. Kazi and Commander Gren are the only thing that stands between General Amaya and The Dragon Prince having at least a PG-13 rating.

David Johnson

African-French accent, actually. Claudia doesn't *want* to believe that her father did this...so she's literally grasping for any excuse, even a bad one.

Catradora fan

Elf Callum doing the British/Australian accent as an Australian should I be offended? 😅🤣😂

Dafydd Mac an Leigh

That little hand gesture you keep referring to as "flirting" is a classic move in kung fu movies — essentially one fighter saying to the other "come at me, bro". Interpreting that as a bit of flirtation gives a whole new aspect to the kung fu fights and I am absolutely HERE FOR IT. XD

Ryan

I immediately thought of the subway fight between Neo and Agent Smith...

Bug Catcher Jacky

I really like the little "actions have consequences" TDP has got going on. We already had it back when Viren told the story about how the queen died, but here it is again. By saving the sunfyre elf general, Amaya essentially saved herself. Without her, Amaya would have most definitely been killed off there. We've also seen it with Callum. He used dark nagic to safe Rayla, but had he not done that, Sol Regen might have let him pass without a fight. Also side note: I love Ethari a lot. The way he sees Regina Draconis sounded very german, though. Like, that's how people around where I live would probably pronounce it.

Connor Grynol

I don't think it was a "convientient butterfly". By Aaravos' words, we can infer he can see much. He knew Soren and Claudia were coming long before they got to the cell. To what degree Aaravos can influence the world is difficult to say, but we can safely assume he can move a butterfly to where he wants.

Miranda Corvus

Alright I've defended Viren in past videos, but at long last we have arrived at the moment where I get onboard the Viren hate train Love my complex baddies, but he lost me with the gaslighting of best boy. Never mess with best boy Btw, the translator, Kazi, is nonbinary, using they/them pronouns

James Parry

"Cause they're both still f*cking alive".....lol, just wait. You'll enjoy future seasons haha

SauceyRed

Oh huh, didn't know the translator's name OR pronouns, neat!

Miranda Corvus

Some names are only revealed on the wiki. Like the sunfire queens name is Khessa

Peach

Ruthari is just…something else😝 GOD I love them!!!😭

Xaimon

I'm sus that the translator is Non-Binary. It would be awesome to also have Non-Binary representation.

Xaimon

I'm Pan and I'm Sad.😢🌈

Vegvisir92

They aren't 'trying hard' with the Scottish accent, Ethari's VA is a Scottish born actor
