I dunno if anyone has mentioned it yet or not, but I do love the detail that Louie takes it the hardest because he's the youngest of the three boys(Their name order when they are called is their birth order), so he would naturally be more emotional about things like this.

That's Graham McTavish as Scrooge's father, Dwalin (the bald one) in the Hobbit movies and Dougal in Outlander. Basically the most Scottish actor currently around.

Sad that we're about to get a hiatus from this show, but interested in seeing what the new show is lie because I haven't even heard of it until the poll. Still, I'm glad we're finishing up season 1 first, because that just makes the most sense since we're near the end. Looking forward to even more reactions in the future :D Btw love the shirt. They're so cute :3

Black spirit dogs are actually a big part of folklore on the isle of Britain, so that's why it would have been there. It's the kind of stuff the Grim from the third Harry Potter book was based on.

just don't let Mosco hear your scottish accent unless she's into it lol

I think this is about a point in the show to bring up that I'm personally not the biggest fan of it becoming increasingly explicit that Scrooge has a supernaturally extended lifespan. I found that most fun where it kind of kept his age in the background and played around with allusions to him being implausibly old, but becoming overt and literal about it kind of shifts the focus of the character in a way that I'm not quite into. It's kind of like... feeling the need to explain a joke, or wrapping itself up in layers of unnecessary explanation when a more light touch feels like it would have been more appropriate.
