This episode broke the entire audience. Both during the animated show and during the campaign. If you don't watch the entire campaign there's a few compliations of scenes that got translated unto the show that's worth watching

The reaction did not disappoint 🤣 But legit, I thought we'd have a longer build to that. I remember watching this episode and not expecting... *that*. Then the door opened. I forget what I said, but I'm pretty sure there was an expletive in it.

12:37 - The liquor Percy has with him is called "Courage", one of 4 "Spirits of Whitestone", including Green Tear Whiskey, Dire Heart and Snow Mead. Recently Critical Role partnered with Quest's End Whiskey to actually create Courage whiskey you can buy! The name reflects the courage needed to brew it, which is aged in barrels from wood found in the dangerous Parchwood Timberlands. 12:57 - Yes, Laura actually did this in the campaign as one of MANY legendary moments she brought to Critical Role! (also B!!!) 18:11 - yeah. -_- In the campaign the roles were reversed. Vax was insistent in his love for Keyleth and she was the one who begrudgingly pushed him away because of her Aramente and what it would do to her. 22:10 - Fun fact, while Laura and Taliesin were recording their audio for this sex scene, most of the cast were in the room with them and intentionally stared at them to make them feel super awkward (especially Laura XD)! 22:20 - If watching the whole campaign is too time consuming there are plenty of "from table to screen" videos on Youtube you can watch that compares scenes from the show with moments from the campaign they're based on! 37:25 - Dohla bares a lot of similarities with the character Tiberius Stormwind, a character played by a former cast member of Critical Role. Both characters are magic wielding Red Dragonborns from Draconia who had feelings for one of Matts NPCs. Where Dohla had feelings for Kima, Tiberius had feelings for Allura. It's unclear if this was intentional or just a coincidence, as there was a series of controversies that led to the cast member leaving the live show. 48:50 - MATT MERCER CAMEO! 8D

Oh Talesin, Matt and everyone else at the table got on board but she is the instagator and is sole responsible for everything that is going to happen over the next few eps. And its get worse during the Mighty Nein and then Ashley gets in on it during Bells Hells so yeah you have been warned, by the time this is over EVERY PERSON at the table is going to Horny Jail

First of all: B Second, yeah, Laura fucking Bailey, gents, ladies and nb people. She had so many moments like this one. In the campaign, the door thingy started with her saying: "I open de door... COMPLETELY naked!" So it's very accurate and trust me, not the most mental thing she did in this campaing. She's a chaos agent in the three campaings, but specially in the second one (that is about to get its own series, btw, called The Mighty Nein).

I will NEVER understand why some villains (or short time enemies like the lizard lady) feel the need to mock, threaten or belittle their obviously superior allies. You see it SO OFTEN in stories and it makes no actual sense. The fact that these characters just losr all braincells for a minute to die a stupid death is baffling. You'd think someone crafty enough to lure someone into a trap would know better than to antagonize someone much stronger than them. I really don't get the logic behind the trope xD I get that they're petty and filled with grudges but c'mon.

So just something extra about Dola - She doesn't just suck because she's a jealous little bitch, she also sucks, probably even more so, because the is a total traitorous sellout bitch. She works together with the dragons hoping that her homeland would avoid the fate that befell Emon, which at first might sound redeeming, she wants to save her people, right? Wrong.
