Jentry doesn't have to die, Kit will get his soul, Mr. Cheng gets his daughter back... everyone wins! Also remember from episode one that his parents had a lot of 'family stuff' from Nigeria that burned down in the demon girl fire. I'm betting some of that was part of his heritage and dealt with the whole visions thing.

Kit and Stella passing eachother going in opposite directions on the likability meter. I was SO happy they rehabbed Stella in this episode. She was the friend Jentry needed when she was at her lowest. I loved that she went from potential romantic rival to Jentry's fiercest protector. Jentry needed normal, and what's more normal than a girl her age having a girl friend who has her back. Kit with his incel breakdown was just... painful. And disappointing. You'd think being as old as he is, as many lives as he's lived, he'd know better. I loved seeing Jentry's vulnerability in this episode. Reminding us that apart from the badass powers, she's still just a kid who needs guidance and support. Crying because she missed Gugu hurt. But bawling her eyes out as Wheeler tried to turn a stadium full of people against her was heartbreaking.

"Angst" - Accurate. Your reaction to Mosco *slamming* the door open is priceless. She rolled high on her stealth check for ambush. But you have to know ... some day the bill for all of this mischief will come due. Until then, keep on twerking, Hamish! ...I can't think of a single time I've seen a guy get rejected and take it well. It would be good for boys to see that in media. The cuts back and forth between Jentry getting to be just a normal teenage girl and the responsability of the powers she abdicated is just top notch editing. She got what she wanted, but at what cost?

I get that you're being even-handed, Elijah, you're giving honest advice on how NOT to handle rejection, but I gotta say Kit doesn't deserve anything. At least by this point in the series, that much is clear. Shitty fucking incel is what he is. 😨

Okay I have to say this when you grabbed Hamish at the beginning I immediately said just watch Mosco barge in and scare her while she's doing this and then she did! I almost died laughing.

After catching up on these I decided to go watch the rest of the series on my own. Coming back from the next one, I cried. Looking forward to seeing your reaction to it. It's incredible.
