Heads up just because you were wondering anout the premiere/schedule of the show. This episode droped early for a period of time. Then on the 19th the first three episodes including the one you reacted to will drop on Prime. Followed by one episode weekly I think. 12 episodes total.

Side note: everytime Liam/ Caleb speaks German/ Zemnian I got exited. SPOILERS FOR C2. I like to think Hot Boi is horrible at learning languages, but tries anyways to learn Zemnian either with help from Caleb or struggles at his own to „impress" him. A step more than „study partners" afterall

HAHA, We're off to the races! So, some fun facts & crossovers with Vox Machina: Residuum, the green crystal Beau found, is the same substance that's found in Percy's hometown, Whitestone. AND Trent Ikithon's voice sounds suspiciously identical to the suspiciously identical mage who attacked Anna Ripley's village & killed her father in Vox Machina S3 - the mage who was from "The Assembly". Yeah, you & I both having the same reaction to Beau and Yasha. Also the Volstrucker girl from the opening. Also the Volstrucker man from the opening. Damn, they have some gorgeous, muscular people in this damn show! Oh, you are going to love Caleb & Nott. Both of their stories make me want to cry. And we'll eventually see what brough them to this point. Also, a little casting detail: the Bright Queen is voiced by Lucy Liu and Dairon, the cool monk lady who saved Beau, is voiced by Ming-Na Wen, the voice of Mulan! And she is not the only Disney princess in this show!

To explain Nott is a female Goblin played by Sam who is an alcoholic, that’s why she’s so desperate to get beers. It’s her addiction. Caleb is played by Liam And then the women you saw at the end of the episode is played by Ashley the player of Pike in Vox Machina. You already know Beau is voiced by Marisha and she is probably the most popular character in Mighty Nein along side Jester and Nott. Can’t wait for Wednesday!

Nott is in fact a lady! A little alcoholic goblin, which is why she was all jittery for booze. Also I'm surprised you didn't recognize the Residuum, seeing as it plays a major part of Percy's home Whitestone in The Legend of Vox Machina! Also also, "sleeves are bullshit" is a common Marisha Mantra. lol ALSO also also, buff lady at the end is my personal favorite!

Oh, girl, if you liked both Beau and Yasha (big strong goth woman at the end with the voice of sweet Ashley), you're gonna LOVE them hard when you really meet them. And the relationship of Nott and Caleb is one of my favorite things in the original campaing, there is a moment that I'm super eager to see about them!

Gosh this is SUCH a good first episode. It is a bold choice to only meet half the main characters in your first episode, but honestly it works well, because you need time to go through each character. I am guessing next ep we're starting with Fjord.

Ikithon, the arch mage seems to have a German/Zemnian accent, which could hint at a connection to Caleb. (I haven’t watched the campaign, so just speculation, not a spoiler.)

Do not trust any of these wizards, except for Caleb. Although he literally smells like shit, we still love him. Also, if you thought you hated Trent now, don't worry, he gets worse. Whether the Beacon is good or bad is a matter of perspective really. The kryn dynasty certainly give off cultist vibes on the surface level, but I can't wait until the show dives into their lore.

Caleb is indeed speaking German. Technically, Zeenoth does have a point about Beau. If she had shown Ruzimir the crystal, that's evidence that might have swayed him, but she assumed it wouldn't work out of pride. Yeah, he's an asshole, but he's a detective too. And if he had ignored such an obvious clue, it's clear he's been subverted.
