Yay, Elijah’s back and back with RWBY! So glad that she’s gotten better. 🥳🌈❤️

Solus

Yay

Pain

Ah, she's not ready for the ending 😂

Suplee215

Ren is the perfect person for Nora to say that to. Not many will actually be willing to wait patiently and not pressure them or just move on. But Ren? He'll wait for her to get there without being a passive aggressive "nice guy" about it.

Etheriell

I'm glad you were able to pick up on the trick they use to create penny because it's kind of weird. I remember when this initially aired, a lot of people were confused, and I had to think about it for a while. But I like that they used the loophole that he is not allowed to destroy. Because he can't destroy, removing the robot parts would have destroyed her if she didn't have a body for her soul to inhabit. Which means he's not allowed to do that. Which means he was forced to make a body for her for her soul to inhabit. But it wouldn't have counted as his creation because the creation he made was the second penny of the robot parts. Basically, our intrepid heroes became rules lawyers and found a loophole lol. It's a really confusing one, but I actually really like it as just a fun loophole

Symbolic Remnant

Of course, from his side, it also helps so much that he knows how much she really does love him. Sometimes, “I need to find myself” can feel like it means “I wanna keep you in reserve and play the field a bit before I commit.” As a matter of fact, sometimes it DOES mean that. But that’s not the case here.

Stacy Person

Oh I cannot wait for next week 😭

There were (and still are) theories on what „Summer's last mission was", especially with Salem in the mix... Episode 11 WAS the conformation. (Kinda)

BGTitan

Ep 11: God this episode is just good emotional catharsis. These characters finally getting a moment to sort out some of their issues and figuring out how to come back together. I know this had been the episode I’d been waiting for since… maybe volume 6. Just a chance for some of our characters to have their breakdown and get that emotional release. And I just want to give it up to the voice actors. Specifically Sam Ireland (Nora), Neath Oum (Ren), Barbara Dunkleman (Yang), and Lindsey Jones (Ruby). I can’t watch either of their scenes without getting super emotional. These actors have come so far since volume 1 (Volume 3 for Neath), and I’m so happy for them. Something I've always enjoyed about the Ace Ops' reactions to what Ironwood is doing is that it's a spectrum. You obviously have Marrow being completely horrified by what James is doing and so he defects. You have Elm who is uneasy, but still thinking like a soldier (though I do love that after James almost shoots Marrow even she's like 'uh, guys...' and takes a second to fall in line again). You have Vine who is looking at this as pure logic, as in if this makes the kids see reason then the threat was worth it. And then there's the Harriet of it all, the one that is so angry that she's become, ironically, completely apathetic to whether he detonates the bomb or not. Awkward Emerald with a touch of Tsundere is just perfect. The Jailbirds are free! I repeat, the Jailbirds are free! Ep 12: YESSSSS WINTER FINALLY DEFECTED LET’S FREAKIN GO MY QUEEN IS FREE! I REPEAT: MY QUEEN IS FREE!!! Ahem… Anyway! Something I do enjoy about Winter’s defection is that it wasn’t related to Weiss or any of her family. It was her own morals and the fact that she finally had come to grips with the fact that the man she’d followed so faithfully for years (who as Weiss said last volume had groomed her entire military career) had become the monster. A type of Monkey's Paw with the whole "I'll give you what you ask for, don't be mad when it's not what you wanted." The name the crew used our new Staff Deity during production is Merlin Daddy. I mean, fitting. Ambrosius is fun though. He’s just here to have a good time and seems genuinely bummed out that our crew thought through their plan so thoroughly. Love the implication that Winter would have left Jacques to rot. Can’t blame her. The way Penny’s VA imitates Emerald’s for a moment before the reveal is so good. There’s even a hint it’s Emerald because she says, “I don’t” instead of “I do not.” Penny doesn’t use contractions, hasn’t since she came back last volume. And just like that, Pinocchio became a real girl. So, to speak. Physically I mean. She’s always been a real girl in the ways that mattered, but you know. Pinocchio reference. “Do not fall.” Well… That’s not foreboding at all.

Crow

SPOILERS! As soon as I saw the thumbnail I just thought “oh no”

Karel Hill

The next 2 episodes are intense so make sure you have your favorite comfort plush, your favorite warm beverage, and enjoy!

Isadora

SPOILERS AGAIN! When she said "protect Penny at all costs" I was like... yikes :(

Silverdenndotpng

Boy I can't wait for you to react to the last two episodes!

Stabby_Taco

Oh she's not ready and I don't think I am either 😅

Suplee215

Winter's turn is so good because its hard to think when she did it. I can easily see her being willing to take action if ironwood did some shit earlier in the season.

Evil Queen

I’m so ready to watch her reaction to the final two episodes and her moving into Vol 9 has me bouncing with excitement. So glad to see you’re back and feeling better Elijah! 🐝💛🖤

Isadora

Ruby has improved her semblance so much. In volume 2 she could barely lift Penny (granted, she probably weighed a lot), and now she's been transporting her team around all the time. I loved how, right before the vault's door opened, she was ready in a runner's stance to grab her team and speed inside.

Migli

oh god I am NOT ready for her reaction to the finale of this volume

Kameron S

Summer rose is starting to sound too similar to Vander/Warwick 👀

CrowOfAFeather

Good to have you back! To be fair it's been some time now, but they did explain that it was the Staff that helped keep Atlas afloat. The public story is that it's gravity dust. :) And thanks to that, they have an unlimited power supply. Next week can't come fast enough!

SportySpice

I always commend how “economical” these writers manage to be w the run time they have. They fit in Ren/Nora, Ruby/Yang chat, Penny/virus, Winter and Marrow and Emerald’s turns, and the evacuation plot all in two eps and it doesn’t feel rushed. I think the last 4 eps of Vol 8 are some of the best paced in RWBY and build suspense in a way not done since V3. So good.

.

She's not ready for what's coming

cipher

Elijah: "what could go wrong?" All of us: "nervous uncomfortable laughter."

Enchanted_Echo

She almost caught the thing..........this is going to be so heartbreaking

Pdrs

back in the day we called James "Copperschlong" :D

Ryan

Chapter 11: CRWBY giving Elijah emotional whiplash by dangling canon Rennora over Elijah like a cat toy, just out of her reach, and then intimating that Summer Rose has been Grimmed. Which I don't think is her fate - otherwise it would have been her in the Hound. Which means her fate must be something worse :) Chapter 12: Lesson learned: explain the plan *after* you execute it. Ambrosius is sassy. I love it. Fitting that Penny's arc leads her to become a real girl. And given she's a gender bent version of a Pinnochio, and her name starts with P ... team JNPR 2.0? Jinn and Ambrosius are both in chains. I wonder what happens if they're freed... Elijah: "How could this go wrong if it does?" Ambrosius: "You mean when?"

LikeCat

Fellow Critters (if there are any here) - SPOILERS for CR for anybody else... Is it just me or does Ambosious and Artie have a similar vibe. I watched RWBY first and immidiately fell in love with THIS Genie. Than on a rewatch (Elijah's reaction) noticed this „similarity" - sassy boys

SportySpice

Summer (dead, alive or who knows) being revealed as the Big Bad Wolf in Ruby’s Red Riding Hood myth is still so crazy.

RetroBeastto

Glad you’re feeling better and back at it Man I am stressed for your finally of Volume 8. It’s a blessing that Mosco is there. You’ll need her

Dyamalos

Probably helps that unlike traditional TV they don't have the same restrictions. TV in general has always had to fit into "time slots" and either fill out an episode with pointless stuff or rush through important moments so they don't go over in time. Even stuff on Netflix seems to still be made to fit in specific time slots. Being online first/only means they use as much time as they need for the story to progress that episode. So they don't have to aim for that 20-25 minutes with commercial break.

SportySpice

I am sure they’d love to have the budget for 20-25 min episodes though. But they do well with the means they have.

Dyamalos

She's been conflicted for a while but once she sees Rottenwood just murder one of the council members for arguing against him you can tell she starts having more and more issues with what she is doing but has the mentality of "following orders" no mater what. Up until that point she was concerned with what he is doing but assumed it was for the "greater good". By the time she starts realizing he's a literal monster she also starts feeling guilty for the things she had helped him do up to that point.

Suplee215

She also didnt have a good oppurtunity at that time to do anything. And a lot of what she did do have justifiable logic. She seemed to have always had a line and once ironwood cross it she was out. Sometimes tough decisions do have to be made but there was a line that was too far. She alsondidnt just leave but stayed after the line was cross as the best way she can be of help is by being abke to interfere. I think early on she decided she was going be there to talk Ironwood out of anything too stupid and when she realized she couldn't her plan changed.

Jittercritter

That confession scene has the best dialogue in the series I think. Such a mature and honest interaction

Taigan

Can I ask that future passwords not include apostrophes? Different systems default to ‘ or ’ or ' and it makes it hard.

Tammy Ragsdale

These two episodes are some of the best written and paced in the series, I think. The voice acting is on point, too. They pack an emotional punch, move the characters where they need to be, and set everything up nicely for the final two episodes. The sad thing about Ruby's observation about the hound, is that she is probably right. I'm sure that thought was already floating around in the back of Yang's mind when Blake told her about it, but she'd manage to keep it at bay until Ruby said it out loud like that. I actually really like Nora's decision to take some time and figure things out. It's a very mature way to deal with things. She's got time. Ren isn't going anywhere. Ah, Winter, everyone could feel you turning against James before you did. I can understand her trying to stand by him, he shaped her career and he clearly means a lot to her. I imagine she would have rather stayed by his side and tried to influence his choices, instead, but she couldn't let him just bomb Mantle. Next two episodes are pretty intense. It's actually a really good thing you'll be watching them together, I think.

Vex Valor

Season 8 is one of my favorite seasons. It feels like a really long finale to season 7 because it's still trying to fix where season 7 ended the entire time and they never get rest. I feel so much for these characters and you can feel how they just want to relax for a moment, but they can't. They have to save thousands of people.

Dre

Although for those of us who know what happens in the next two chapters we’ll be very aware that precise phrasing when it comes to the staff is super important. 😭

RenaissanceM

There were two scenes that I saw as clips on Facebook that made me want to watch RWBY. The first was the battle between the Ace Ops & Team RWBY in Volume 7. The second….was a behind the scenes look at voice actress Samantha Ireland recording her lines for the confession scene between her and Ren. That scene will always have a special place in my heart for that reason. It’s the scene that started my RWBY journey, and I am so unbelievably grateful. ☺️❤️

Stabby_Taco

SPOILERS AGAIN!!!! SHE'S SO NOT READY! She was so excited to have Penny as human and I was just like "oh...oh no..." I'm expecting a lot of crying next Friday.

Martin E Melcher

Glad youre feeling better. Now....incoming so much pain

General Tacticus

Almost to the end of volume 8! I'm so excited :D I do have a request, though. Can we not with calling Ironwood "insane"? He isn't. He's making unconscionable choices, because his priorities are warped and his perspective is warped; but he's making them of his own free will and in full knowledge of what he's doing. That makes him a bad guy, not a mentally-ill guy. Conflating the two seems kinda ableist.

Wil DeYoung

"When I want to say I love you, I say... boop."

Alexis Cardillo

Their plan really was brilliant, but of course Cinder is still in play. Brace yourself for the final two episodes of this volume

Etheriell

Yeah, the phrasing is very important heh

Arashi

I will say that Penny's theme song for this volume 'Friend' is one of the best songs they've made (IMOO) and that it is directly referring to chapter 12 dialogue is just *chef's kiss* Can't say I'm surprised you missed another 'what could go wrong' part in those last few moments, I missed it initially too. That said, you don't need to worry, the next (and the last) chapters are not named Fall. That's a 'yay', right?

Zirkumflex

One thing that stand out for me this volume is that the good guys treat Penny always as a person, while the bad guys treat her like a machine. Or is it the other way round? That they are bad because they do not treat her like her own person? I remember when this chapter came out I rewound Emerald kick flipping Ironwood way too often (because that moment is just that cool). And you are right Mosco has no idea what she's in for for this volume; And neither are you.

Potato

Oh boi... next week huh.. 🍿🍿 i being pop corn who bring tissue?

Dafydd Mac an Leigh

Penny's a *human* girl now. She's ALWAYS been a *real* girl.

EJ

These next episodes coming up will be one hell of a time

Quentin.

Oh my god, we’re here guys… the Volume 8 finale is right around the corner. This next round are two of my favorite episodes of RWBY and two of its most cinematic. Elijah, I’m so glad you’re well. Now prepare yourself, be steady, and keep moving forward. ✊🏽

Hollyhock

I adore how... Mature the scene with Ren and Nora is. There's no dramatic breakup, or rejection. Just a loving and understanding "I need some time for myself" It just makes me root for them even more because when they do become a couple Nora will be her most self actualized version.

Hollyhock

Also: RIP Elijah's tear ducts

Natasha Grimm

Something that you may or may not have picked up on: The title of every episode of this volume so far has only consisted of a single word. This is incredibly relevant for the finale

Hollyhock

Also also gotta love how Summer haunts the narrative with all the breadcrumbs about her unknown fate

EmberPanther

Nora has a song on the Volume 2 soundtrack named Boop, and it’s in that song that we get our first confirmation that not only does she love him, she says so by “booping”.

Kyle Hennett

“Do Not Fall” one of the best lines of all of RWBY

Ian Moscrop

Even though Elijah probably doesn't read these comments, I just want to reiterate what I said on Episode 1. "Sometimes it's worth it all to risk the fall. And fight for every life."

Enchanted_Echo

**LAST WARNING FOR VOL. 8 13&14** Watch this last or if not do it in a good mind space because episode 13 will have flashing lights that’ll distort photosensitive viewers. Episode 14 will tackle topics about “death” that may be distressing to many, so be careful when watching. There will be a post credit scene and I recommend you listen to the lyrics of the song for the end credits for closure about (Redacted) Enjoy the finale that is my favorite volume of 8

Eddie Murphy

These next two episodes are going to break Elijah (and me all over again).

Eddie Murphy

Yeah, I'm interested to see how her attitude towards Neo may change by the end of the volume...

GuildmasterVen

I love the rollercoaster that Elijah has had to go through with this show and we still have volume 9 🤣🤣🤣 next volume reminds me of Shinji from Bleach... If ya know ya know 😎

Connor Hines

Well Ambrosius, maybe if your cryptic warning is “Do Not Fall” you can add some guardrails

Rythen Eugea

oh god volume 9 is so close I've been excited for this for months

Lunar Blitz

i just have to tell you... im sorry if this is kinda spoilery (no exact details but its important) i noticed in the episode that the the whale was destroyed there was no epilepsy warning that roosterteeth put in the video, that makes me believe there is no warning for the episodes to come... but its not an epilepsy warning.......... they put the suicide hotline number on screen. so i wanted to make sure you and your viewers got the warning. some people may need it. just looking out for the community

Kiesen

I'm gonna preface this now by saying: PLEASE watch the next two episodes together. The final one is over 20 minutes and ik that goes over your usual but you will regret it if you don't watch them together. Also, I (and many others it seems) would suggest putting a trigger warning for dark themes on those episodes, which RT had on them alongside the suicide hotline (but which seems to be lacking in your cuts). Not intending to spoil anything, but I feel it's important to mention. - Damn, that's no fun. I wish you a speedy recovery! Being ill always sucks. - I love how Ironwood's steady cadence and inflection has taken on new meaning as we've watched him go insane. Same with his motif. They're both practically omens at this point. I know Jason Rose is intentionally delivering it with that edge but it's not that far off from how he's been speaking the entire series. - Ironwood literally shot one of the unarmed council members at point blank. He unfortunately has no qualms about killing anyone who goes against him. - I'm so glad you've always had faith in Winter despite how things have appeared on the surface. A lot of people did Not give her any bit of charity when these volumes were airing. - Blake sitting like that is representative of her briefly regressing back to her old quiet and cold self. Weiss and Yang are doing similar by being snarky and aggressive respectively. - I'd personally be okay with having scars like that lmao. But I get why Nora doesn't like them. - It's always takes me out at the fucking kneecaps when Nora has her serious moments. She was introduced as such a ditzy, air-headed character that seeing her buckle down and express these very heavy emotions hits so fucking hard. More so than they would if delivered by a more consistently serious character. Plus Samantha Ireland does an amazing job delivering each and every line. - Seeing your reaction to this confession has me clawing at the paint off the walls. - As satisfying as it would be to seem them get together here, I think it's amazing that they didn't take the easy way out with these two. Nora does need that time to figure herself out. Mainly for her sake, but also for Ren's and the future potential romantic relationship. It's a move so few writers are willing to make, especially this far into a series. - God this scene gives me chills every time and I SO badly hope they turn Summer into a monster. I want her to be Ruby's wolf in her Red Riding Hood allusion. It'd be SO fucked up. - You called Emerald switching sides all the way back in V3 lmao. - The Girl Who Fell Through the World Mention again!!!! - The score in V8 is SO fucking good. It genuinely has some of my favorite tracks. Especially the scores for these final episodes. - I love that you can instantly tell this isn't Penny because she uses a contraction ("I don't want anyone else to die"). Penny never does, she always says words to their full length ("do not" "cannot" "will not"). It's such a little detail but an instant tell to audience. - Winter has such a sexy fighting style. That final move to break Ironwood's semblance was hot as hell. - RWBY is pretty good about making it so their magic has limits. There's always some drawback to even the most OP magic, be that actually built into the rules itself or some secondary consequence/limit. - Lmao Rooster Tooth used to sell Ambrosius mouse pads. Like those big titty anime girl mouse pads but with him. - This scene and many others is why V8 is one of my top 3 favorite volumes. People knock it for its heavy topics among other things, but I love so much of it. - I never noticed that they're showing her aura through her robotic self's eyes. Neat catch! I really need to rewatch this series on a huge screen and slow stuff down. - The monkey's paw curls. - Cordovin poster in the subway tunnel! Her hair isn't grey, so it seems to be her younger self. - Also never noticed the relevance of Cinder's name with that warning. Lmao. GOOD FUCKING LUCK!!!! Be afraid. But not too afraid. I swear this is still a series about hope.

Lil Ferret

They didn't specify guardrails, so he's not gonna put any 🤷‍♀️

Cinder's Apologist

reminds me of the comic AG Nonsuch made in response to that episode where Ruby went "Then just add guardrails?" and Ambrosius is like "LOL NOPE"

Cinder's Apologist

YES. BE AFRAID. BE VERY AFRAID. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! okay but seriously, I love that you bought some AG Nonsuch merch! always loved their RWBY artwork, always so adorable and silly, truly one of the greatest in the fandom. seeing you being so eager in anticipation of Winter's defection was such a joy. because yes, you were right! I know you probably wanted it because Winter Hot... which is kinda valid >.> but anyway, that takedown of Ironwood is always so fun to watch. it was a long time coming! relatedly, I was eager to see your reaction to Emerald also switching sides! it was killing me to see you focus so much on how Emerald was loyal to Cinder even though this volume shows her starting to drift away at the end of Midnight and after. so I was sitting here like "no no she's not gonna snitch. she wants out. context clues!" just glad you finally noticed that Emerald is indeed done with Team Evil. I'm so eager to see how she does with the others now. (also you did notice her wariness in the past, and you were right! Emerald was shown to be most likely to jump ship ever since v3, certainly v6) Renora... ahhh they finally said it. sort of. but allow me to drop this quote: "All good romance is earned." - Monty Oum <- one of his most well-known quotes Renora is truly the ship that is obvious from the beginning but also clearly has a lot of work to do. it's super valid to want them to just be happy, but I'm glad you recognize that yeah, Nora needs to figure herself out first. re: "That's what happened to mom." so here's the thing... several characters have made assumptions before, and not all of them proved accurate. it's usually not a good idea to take statements at face value when it comes to RWBY; just look at the things said in the Beacon arc, and how much of that proved to be false or at least incomplete. yep, RWBY genies be covering all the bases of the sexual spectrum! bonus: try going back and see the reactions to Jinn versus the reactions to Ambrosius, specifically how Yang looks at each of them ;) and thus the Pinocchio allusion comes full circle! I'm laughing at how much you were crying from everything happening here, but hey, a lot IS going on lmao it wouldn't be a RWBY finale if it wasn't ominous, would it? WOULD IT??

Cinder's Apologist

big agree on post credit scene AND the credits song. imo a seriously underrated song

Cinder's Apologist

Boop Queen! I can't wait for Elijah to take the time and listen to the soundtracks and go nuts with the analysis (Mosco too for that matter). she's gonna have a blast

Cinder's Apologist

truly one of the most delicious unresolved aspects of the narrative

Rachel Mae

"And hope that we've thought of everything" I both love and hate that Cinder is not even a blip on Ruby's radar. Love bc Cinder wants Ruby dead so so so bad but Ruby is less worried about Cinder personally and more worried about the grand scheme of things. Hate bc Ruby saw the forest for the trees and didnt account for Cinder while focusing on the big picture

Rachel Mae

I usually just copy and paste the password tbh

Ray Knight

I hope Elijah sees this, or messages like this. I know some may say this could be spoiler-y, but it's far too important not to mention. For the finale "The Final Word" there is a content warning at the top of the episode. "Themes of death that may be distressing for some viewers." It's there for a reason, so please take precaution.

LikeCat

I still cry because of that song

LikeCat

Alongside Team STRQ in general

Wixher

I understand being upset with the Ace Ops, but I really feel like you weren't actually paying attention to them during the opening scene and are acting like they were okay with what was happening when, aside from Harriet, all of the others (including the random officers they pass by) are showing signs of distress and discomfort with the whole situation. Like, you say Marrow's the only one who might turn right as Elm is going "he wouldn't actually do that" and looking distraught at the thought of destroying Mantle (which isn't even the first time this volume she's shown cracks in her loyalty) and she's downright horrified after Ironwood almost shoots Marrow. Vine's harder to notice with his level of emotional sepression, but there's a reason that he and Elm share a couple of glances while she's looking that freaked out. Like, I don't even like the Ace Opes all that much, but I wish folks would actually acknowledge the point of their characters (showing how deeply the military indoctrination runs in Atlas and how it breaks the souls of those without some connection to ground them to reality) and how they're meant to be a (brilliantly done) foil to Team RWBY that both highlights Team RWBY's strengths *and* the issues they've yet to address within their team.

Zora Brightwood

I love the fact that Elijah was freaking out about Ren and Nora, and she couldn't tell mosco bc she's only on Vol 6 it's so funny.

Crow

Make sure to watch the end credit scene in the last ep!!

Angelus Lupus

For a solid second there I was convinced I saw Genie wang! But, it was just shadow.... Man these two were a rollercoaster of feelings!

Tedious Rose

I suggest letting Mosco catch up and you two both watch Volume 9 together at the same time

Tedious Rose

Also: "YOU'RE ONLY ON VOLUME 6, I CAN'T TELL YOU YET!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Lindsay

Okay definitely watch the next two together because you will be heartbroken and terrified if you don't.... but also appreciate and feel for those fans who were watching this as it came out and had to wait a whole week in between wondering. Also as someone who has hated Jaune from the moment he first spoke and to this day think the show would be a million times better without him, I'm curious if you'll still like him after this season finale and into the next season. Also super curious if others in the comments like Jaune. I was shocked that both Elijah and Mosco like him. But I'm always shocked about how much this fandom seems to love him.

Enchanted_Echo

It’s my second favorite song of the series right in front of Home and #1 is coming up in Vol. 9 ♟️

Kaykic

Let's just pretend this is the end to a good series. It all works out great. Also, I hope she reacts to the song at the end

Phoenix_mercury

u dont think mods have her covered for *all* c/tw's?( spoiler:they do, and i do mean all)

Phoenix_mercury

theirs no warnings in the eps therefore the mods have *all* warnings handled

LikeCat

I remember when I finished Vol 9 there were two songs that I would listen to on repeat (the full song in the fight in the Finale and the end credits song - and to think that THAT was RWBY „final song" for a while was just so good to listen to... Not knowing if/ when RWBY will be picked up)

EJ

(Might be a spoiler) Imo Jaune was a highly underrated character up until like early-mid Season 9

man-of-bvz1n3ss

I really loved your reaction to realizing the Hound had Silver Eyes, and what that meant for Summer. It's one of the most terrifying parts of the show, and it gets even worse when you realize that's what Salem wants RUBY for. Ruby could've wound up in that same fate if Tyrian took her back in Volume 4. Harriet does actually have a bit more nuance than you might think. Robyn called it out at the start of the Volume, but essentially, it all stems from her never admitting Clover was her friend while he was alive due to the repression of the Atlesian military. When he died, she had all this grief, and to acknowledge it would be to acknowledge the fact that she cared about him to begin with. So she disassociates by latching onto something familiar: Ironwood. She treats him as a replacement Clover and focuses on his orders above all else, and lashes out at anything that reminds her of her grief, such as Qrow, so she doesn't let it out. It's fascinatingly toxic. Yes, Elijah, Ambrosius very much is a male Jinn... in more ways than one. Volume 8 is just an absolutely incredible Volume. Easily my favorite.

Aiden N.

I've always had mixed feelings about Jaune. Sometimes I think he's a good character but then I think he takes away from the main 4 too much. I kinda wish his storyline went differently at the end. I don't want to say too much

Vic Walker

Idk where you got the chapters without the opening, but as one person in Vimeo noticed, it's also cutting many trigger warnings multiple episodes had this volume. They are very much needed, as you said before, this volume is really brutal.

KawaiiDeathz

I've always liked Jaune because he may be an underrated character but he is one that has grown a lot. that is if one is really paying attention. Lie Ren had a semblance to hide or mask emotions/people. However the more Jaune used his semblance to amplify Rens aura; the more Rens emotional state became unstable. Eventually after figuring out his issues and coming to a conclusion; Ren is able to unlock more of his semblance. I believe this could be because of Jaune. He doesn't just amplify, he helps unlock more of someones semblance. Plus it's Jaune. without him, where would some of these character be?

Keira Johnson

Just re-binging your reactions. Go back to when Penny arrived in front of Ironwood. She says "Don't" but Penny NEVER uses contractions. She would have said "Do Not" but because it was Emerald they had her say 'don't' as a hint to fans before the reveal.

Christopher Groenewald

Fun fact, the burn marks on Nora are called Lichtenburgh figures. A branching tree or web-like pattern created when high voltage electricity moves through and insulated material. They can often be found on the skin of lightning strike victims
