The white lotus members seemed to mention nisha had a chaotic style possibly a vatuu nod. But maybe not as was pointed out Korra was like that to and the only past life the Rava a avatar would have access to would be Korra since her fight with Unalok/Vatuu severed her past life connections. I wonder what the spirit world and it inhabitants are like now. Yue may still be an ally but then Ko and Wan Shi Tong will likely still be pissed.

Not sure if its to intentionally mirror Korra and Aang or to represent the 2 conflicting roles of the Avatar. Both Aang and Korra amd other avatars struggled with balancing the fighte/defender with the diplomat.

By the looks of things from each area on the map is one of the seven heavens and the leading theory that I'm leaning on is that each of them coordinate to one of the seven Chakras as SOMETHING happened that made them get chaotic (this map may not be 100% accurate but interpretation) - Allora (Earth Chakra) Color is Red and Blocked by Fear and based on SURVIVAL - Ba Sin Sae (Fire Chakra) Color is Yellow and Blocked by Shame and based on WILLPOWER - Western Air Temple (Water Chakra) color is Orange and blocked by Guilt and based on PLEASURE - Omashu OR Zaofu (Air Chakra) Color is green and blocked by Greif and bases on LOVE - Fire Capital (Light Chakra) Color Violet and blocked by Illusion and based on INSIGHT - Republic City ( Sound Chakra) Color is Blue and blocked by lies and based on TRUTH (this seems very fitting to find out what happened with Korra) - Agna Quel/Northern Water Tribe (Thought Chakra) color is violet and blocked by Earthly attachments and based on finally COSMIC POWER, the one Aang struggled with. If everything lines up with their representation and names of the books, that seems to be where we're heading

The Red Lotus symbol isn't anything like the shape of Ellora. It's a rounded symbol. Ellora (and presumably the other havens) is shaped like one of the 7 chakra symbols.

Also, I'm not sure that Pavi having rock friends is entirely just about loneliness. It seems like she may have a genuine connection to earth and rock different from anyone else. She may actually hear something from rocks that others can't perceive.

That's my assumption too and those in the masks are actually the red lotus trying to save the Avatar as their roles got swapped

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who had the thought that Pavi may be Vaatu Idk I just can’t help but see it and it’s making me so EXCITED at the idea I had the feeling from the start that they would be Raava and Vaatu (and I have a whole monologue to back up specifics on my theory) but idk Nisha definitely follows the typical Avatar’s journey we’ve seen several times, but Pavi seems different and I’m thinking it’s because she’s not of Raava I’m so excited for the next episodes this is making my inner child so happy

I definitely feel like Raava is in one of them and Vaatu in the other. Still, I saw a comment on either Elijah's reaction to episode 1 or 2 or on one of Mosco's reactions, saying they had a theory that Raava and Vaatu both got split, and so Pavi and Nisha each have half of Raava and half of Vaatu. And personally, I'd rather that because I'd hate for one of them to end up as a dark avatar and become a villain in the end (though that would be interesting). Now, Pavi being similar to Aang and Nisha to Korra. I also see this. Pavi definitely seems to be coming off as a more spiritual/ peaceful type of avatar so far, and Nisha more of a physical/ soldier type, though that could just be for the fact that she's been training with the White Lotus for 3 years.

I just rewatched korra defeating Vatuu. She purified him and he dispersed. We were told that eventually he would be reborn from Ravaa as light and dark are needed together. If he was reborn whilst still connected and contained in Korra with Ravaa could that have caused the cataclysm, it certainly would make it look like Korra caused it like everyoneseems to think. Would like to hear thoughts. Anything I missed.

What I'm hoping for is that Pavi will be the spiritual, Aang-esque, "I don't want to fight, can we find a peaceful resolution" type of avatar and Nisha will be the physical, Korra-esque "I will take the physical action needed to save people" kind of avatar and that together their skills and abilities will play off and complement each other. I'm also leaning towards a theory that they were originally one person, but something magical/spiritual happened that split them into two. Edit: lol, you said pretty much the same near the end of the reaction.

So, I just did the math on the timeline, and I'm seeing something eerily familiar According to the show lore, this takes place roughly 225 years after the end of LoK. The first season of Korra took place roughly 70 years after ATLA, which ended with the pass-by of Sozin's Comet, which takes place once every hundred years. The full LoK story - from Amon to Kuvira - played out over roughly 4 years of show time. So, when LoK ended, it had been about 74 years since the last Comet, meaning the next one was due in approximately 26 years. Now, remember - Karthik said the Cataclysm took place two centuries ago. So, doing the math - the Cataclysm occurred roughly around the same time Sozin's Comet was due to arrive. So, this begs the question: was the cataclysm just Sozin's Comet, but somehow so much worse?

I should point out that you can see auroras in the night sky, which in Avatar world are caused by spirits, and indeed the only time we ever saw auroras in the sky not in the north pole was during harmonic convergence

THAT'S WHAT IT IS! I've been trying to pin down my feelings about Karthik and not getting anywhere. Everything seems to indicate that he's a goodguy, and so far he HAS proven trustworthy. But I'm still uneasy with him. BUT you nailed it, I get General Ironwood vibes off of him.

Yea Its rare to see a good guy be military lawful good in today's media. If they are in the military and lawful good they usually end up exposing the corruption or being used as a pawn, not in charge. Or they are less lawful more chaotic endsjutify the means. The hard nose general who honestly do want good for society is such an outdated trope that it feels fresh and weird. Of course we know how that went with Ironwood... I am stkll going with dead because this is called 7 Havens. So far we only see 1 Haven. Book 1 ending with Karthik's death and Jae taking the avatars and running to another haven for help after what happened is my theory

It's actually crazy when you consider how hard Bryke had to fight just to get Korra and Asami handholding and staring into each other's eyes during the last shot of the series finale back in 2014 to now us just having Jae kiss his bf on the cheek and confirm that yes, he be gay in the third episode of this series. "You two are going to be the death of me." I swear to Raava, show, this better not be frickin foreshadowing! No death flags! I refuse.
