"I want to meet a mermaid!" ... So, um, no reason, but have you watched Disenchantment? The fantasy themed Matt Groening show on Netflix? Just- Just curious is all. Certainly not for reasons involving a sapphic mermaid who will likely feature heavily in the show's upcoming 5th season. Not sure if the show is your flavor, but there are certain... aspects... that I think will pique your interest. Not requesting a reaction (well... maybe for a key episode or two) but it's funny, plenty of intrigue, lots of details hidden in the background / in plain sight for Detective Elijah to pick apart. And there's a particular wlw hookup in there that will melt your freaking heart.

Disney (and animation in general) has always been pretty accepting of two male characters kissing, but ONLY when it is played as a joke. At least until recently. After all, Bugs Bunny has been dressing in drag and kissing Elmer Fudd since before I was born.
