Rainbow Moth

People have had mixed feelings about Season 2 so far. This is what I'll say, I understand and will accept the criticisms people have with S2 Ep 2, but imo, there is NOTHING wrong with this episode

Bailey

Someone translated the runes in that book and apparently they say something about Asmodean crystals being given to demons that have business on earth, so a lot of us get the impression that Stolas is thinking of giving one to Blitz so he won't have to use the book anymore.

Rainbow Moth

Asmodean Crystal's allow access to and from Earth. It's how Verosika and other succubi travel there, I think Stolas will provide Blitz with some so he doesn't need the book anymore (as a way to cut off and end the relationship potentially)

The Akimbo Knight

People really have criticisms with this season so far ?!?, that's very odd. Been enjoying these episodes a bunch as of now.

Rainbow Moth

I agree, but I can't deny that Season Episode 2 (though good) does have some issues and confusing factors - writing-wise

WhyAreWeAwake

Wow. That was painful. I genuinely thought Stolas was a perv from decades of practice. Apparently, that was just raw talent that Blitz activated recently. Tf? Alright... I guess I'm rooting for them? That's sudden...

The Akimbo Knight

I mean It was more of just filler with some character development here and there but all in all it was entertaining the whole way through

Joey Quixote

I love the absolute tone shift from the pilot to now. Heck, even between the pilot and the 3rd episode (?) where we saw Stolas's relationship with his daughter. On the outside this show looks like F-bombs, ultra-violence, and raunchy humor, and it has all that, but it also has more heart than a lot of mainstream media.

Marisa Maribel

Fun fact: The guy who voices Stolas’s father, Paimon, also voiced Jafar in Aladdin. The actor’s name is Jonathan Freeman. He also voiced Blitzø’s father, Cash Buckzo.

FullmetalNinja25

Jonathan Freeman is the voice of Stolas' Father, he's most known for playing Jafar in Aladdin the Animated one not the 2019 Live Action Remake.

Matthew Dunne

Never been able to hear Stolas' leitmotif the same way since this song. I always assumed Stolas was thousands of years old or something. It casts his lyrics of "now all my stories have been told except for one" in a really different light to know he was in his 20s or something then.

Marisa Maribel

I did misspell Stolas’ father. But I was right in Blitzø’s father. His name doesn’t end in an ‘s’, so I spelled it correctly, and I just use that kind of ‘o’ as a joke because he wants people to know it’s silent(I know that’s not what that kind of ‘o’ is traditionally for, but I’ve seen others do it and I liked it). And I didn’t feel like saying he voiced both dads at once, I felt like starting with Paimon first because he sounds the most like Jafar. And then ending with Blitzø’s father because I think it’s a cool thing that he has so much range that it could be a surprise to some that he voiced both characters. There’s nothing wrong with including both characters at once, but I didn’t feel like doing that. And I didn’t do anything incorrect in doing that. I also wanted to give their names after stating who they were in the story, and doing that in one sentence would be too run-on imo.

Marisa Maribel

Sorry that my response is an overreaction, I’m just confused by why I needed correcting on any of that when people would know what I meant.

Bryan Forquer

Stolas is my favorite character in Helluva Boss, and I really hope that he finds someone who loves and cares for him the way he deserves. I really don't want Stolas and Blitz to end up together because I think Blitz is just way too toxic and I don't think he will ever change.

Anzac-A1

Why do you think Blitz can't change? He's already changed a decent amount, actually.

Kev Rink

He's in his 30s

Matthew Dunne

So then he was in his 20s when he was singing that song to his daughter when she was definitely younger than seven.
