Even liking this season a lot more than most. I didn't much care for this one. You can very much feel the writers deciding they needed to give Bane some major role since he's one of the most popular characters, but then having little idea what it should be until they panicked and grabbed onto just repeating the pasta maker gag, which had already seriously worn out its welcome last season. Plus, completely ignoring his new dominatrix girlfriend from the holiday special, which is brushed off so blatantly that I wonder if there was some issue with the actress not being able to come back.

I think even if the other showrunners had to leave, they shldve given some proper guidance to the new people because at times it feels like the previous seasons are completely forgotten about. The bane episode had been revealed about happening basically after s3 ended. I was just hoping it wld be earlier in the season because putting it near the end made it boring because we just wanna go back to harley and ivy! speaking of them, it feels like harlivy might be the only characters with some decent writing and it sucks because u can't have a good show with only two interesting characters. in the previous seasons the crew was somewhat interesting because they played important roles! And I was starting to like the natural disasters but that plotline isn't going anywhere now. as frustrating as this season is I did still enjoy it more than most and am optimistic for next season if we get it. I'm sorry this episode wasn't working for you but I hope you like the last two a bit more. If u don't plan on watching next season that's totally valid. we can maybe do a poll after next season (if we get one) ends and we can let u know whether to watch it or not but at the end of the day it's ur decision. Again I hope you like the last two episodes because we'd never want you to watch something ur genuinely not enjoying but I appreciate that u pushing through it!

Yeah, I just straight up skipped this episode tbh so you're reaction is the first time I'm seeing it....Yeesh. The last two are solid though.

It's a mini croc! So tiny you could put them on pizza! The detail that the receptionist's hair was perfectly curled like pasta is the best part of this episode. Yeah, flashback fill-in episodes are the worst. "I think this one's mostly filler..." Can we all agree to hype up this episode as much as possible for Mosco so she thinks it's going to be the greatest episode in the series, rather than the worst? Because of all the "worst episodes" I've seen - "Go Fish" in Buffy, "Love and Monsters" in Doctor Who - this was... yeah. At least next episode is butter. Better! I mean better!

This episode was physically painful to get through, so I completely understand your reaction. What are you even supposed to really say to this boring, inane garbage? I’ve seen the last two episodes, and they’re not any better IMO. So I honestly wish you would drop it in favor of something else you’d actually enjoy. But if you’re really determined to finish it, at least it’s only two more episodes. What an awful season of a show that started off so great!

I get and appreciate the pattern of doing something completely different focusing on side characters every season, but yeah this one was weak. Don’t worry, things pick up in the last two.

I'm so sorry to all the HQ fans for this season. I've only seen what Elijah has reacted to, but I haven't even caught up with this season. From the sound of the comments it's painful. It's a shame cause I enjoyed the show from what I've seen of the reactions before this season.

I gotta be honest, despite being more Harlivy centric/less fillerish, the worst episode for me wasn't this episode but the next one. It really is quite horrible, I still watched the finale, but I'm done with the show.

Yeah, this was... an episode of a show, alright. The more I look at it, the more I see this season being regarded as transitional. Like, the new crew has a plan (whether or not it's good, time will tell) but the characters and plot weren't where they wanted them to be. So this season feels like a lot of shoving things into place for the next season for what they really want to do. A lot of it doesn't makes sense, feels rushed, and is out of character for some of the cast. The whole situation with Nightwing is a perfect example. I have more to say about it, but that will be left for a later episode. Yet one more reason I love your reactions. Thanks for keeping it real for this one. (But if this was partially the result of a bad day, I hope you're feeling better!)

Disappointed Elijah didn't finish the season. The ending is really good imo and S5 is even better.
