Honestly, Omniman is such a public servant. Heading out and helping those kind aliens. What a nice guy! Really glad he miraculously survived that guardians of the globe attack! We need more heroes like Omniman Edit: Also, yes that was the garbage bag he flung into outer space Edit edit: Also, the confusing title card pop up was basically the guy saying "who knows, maybe one day we'll work with INVINCIBLE" it's a gag that the show does to show the title card each episode

Stormtroopers have good aim. The meme started because people missed Leia’s line in the first movie.

It's amazing how clear it came across as soon as he flew through the portal that the aliens were about to receive the maximum amount of... help.

"Who eats 1 piece of toast?" Haha, glad to know I wasn't alone in finding that weird.

Being a superhero in this world must be brutal. Mark was holding out that hope that he had saved that lady, but it's clear that heroes can't protect everyone in this world. But it goes to show what a good heart he has, I think. Also it's so interesting to observe how Debbie feels dealing with a superhero husband. She seems to dismiss what's normally a harrowing experience for others. Must be a strange day-to-day, probably being desensitized to so much

I kind of want to talk about other notable character moments this episode, but don't want to go into spoilers.

Sage

I do wonder what watching this show is like if you skipped that end credit scene by accident. Might have been a good mystery.

If you're liking the darker, more nuanced and violent take on superheroes, The Boys has a similar vibe and delves into deeper themes and ideas on the subject/genre as well while still doing an amazing job of tying the lessons applicably to our world

Mr. White

Omni-Man is insanely strong, dude razed a planet to the ground in around 30 seconds only by flying around. Him hitting buildings was like nukes going off. Also, the animation in that sequence is really great.

Lol it would have made for an interesting reaction in a very specific way. It becomes a murder mystery.

He was there for a few months at least based on his beard

Really glad to see you pick up on those things from the first episode at the beginning here, always amazed by your analytical skills. A lot of people wont notice some of the smaller things. So glad you're watching this.

Jack Cas

Decide between multiple girlfriends? why not both?

Kyle Chong

Rexplode really does remind me of the admiral Choi dude sometimes lol

J Valentine

Awesome that you recognized what Cecil was doing at the end. So many reactors were so confused as to why he would warn off Darkblood. When we literally just see him destroy an entire planet. When you can't stop the unstoppable the only thing you can do is stall until you can figure out some kind of plan. Stall and prepare.

Do you guys do more than one? I always eat one toast with my eggs, two is too much for me. I guess it is more aesthetically pleasing to do both lol.

iaani

Have to say the show is for some reason more enjoyable the second time around.

Hey, I think I realised what was giving me weird vibes about Nolan in episode 1 before the end. He looks a lot like Fuhrer King Bradley.

jdthebud

I haven't finished the show yet (watched thru ep 3 so far) but I did wonder if that was foreshadowing. It'll be interesting to see what happens.
