Of all the days for me to have to go to bed early :( Can we all appreciate Goodwin cheering on the fact Jayce has a new girlfriend in the description, though?

Megan

Cait and Vi are my favorite dynamic in the whole show. Their personalities and different backgrounds complement each other so well.

Francesca White

Jinx does have a dummy of the other kid too, he's the hanging doll with the goggles

PKKite

Really don't see how some people see Silco treating Jinx as a lover vs a daughter like it's portrayed. He literally fathers her almost every scene via discipline, anger for loud music, teaching life lessons, making her sit and pay attention. He never approaches her sexually smh

According to the writers their scene were supposed to make people uncomfortable, something about both of their trauma creating lack of normal boundaries. But yeah the relationship itself isn’t sexual and Silco really see’s her as a daughter. I was definitely holding my breath a few times though.

Francesca White

*Vi calls Caitlyn hot and asks her if she's into women* Alex: Wait i thought Jayce was getting with police girl? :0

Megan
>>77713045

Lmao another reactor I watched thought that Jayce was cheating on Caitlyn when he slept with Mel too.

PKKite

She went missing that's why they assume a young girl who was in a explosion area and injured died. After the officer drugged her and said he would kill Vi If Silco found her he made her dissappear. Hence her having ZERO record in the prison no prior crimes, no reason for jail, and no info on her person. He put her there and kind just kept her in the prison. She grew up basically the last of her teen years in that prison thought to be dead.hence why the brothel mistress was also shocked. The story is around town was Vander and the kids died/disappeared she said so herself. Now why Silco didn't look for her knowing she was alive who knows (all he knew is she was hurt and in the area but found Jinx instead) for now but I feel like that part of the story was lost on you because at first you thought she was the one in the air raid and was sent to prison (she wasnt) then you mentioned she must be on hand times but yet 0 record of doing crime.

benj

This is personally my favorite episode in all of Arcane, mostly because of the politics stuff and Jayce/Mel. Obviously its all a masterpiece but some of the scenes in this episode will just forever stick with me in my mind. Can’t say that about a lot of shows to be honest.

Megan

Watching Sky (Vitkor’s assistant, the one who asked him out) getting shot down like three times in one scene was so painful to watch. Poor girl.

Francesca White

No Jinx is just like a daughter to Silco lol

I like how they show Heim is either oblivious or doesn't care for internal backdoor politics and thought the play as just that a play not a chance to make connextions and deals. He is obviously on the council not because he has family power or money but rather intellect and being a city founder.

Goodwin the type of dude to see two women get married and go "wow friendship goals" lmaoo

Francesca White

btw i just wanna say i feel bad with everyone correcting you, but just so you know these reactions are still amazing!

DennisAnimeFan

Haha, love how you called enforcers the military police - Attack on Titan lingering in the back of your mind? :)

Megan
>>77713804

Goodwin’s fighting for his life in every Arcane comment section LMAO. Who knew Arcane would have more discord then his Attack on Titan reactions.

Chris Sharpe

The body language of Silco and Jinx is a little weird, but fear not, he’s not grooming her. Jayce is such an interesting character in my eyes, simply because he foils off of so many characters in different ways, like Viktor, Mel, and Heimerdinger. Silco is also great, because these episodes have shown as so much more than just some mustache twirly villain. His voice actor enthralls me almost as much as much as Grayson (the old police chief).

benj

I’m with you on this one Goodwin. There is one hundred percent something sus about Jinx and Silco’s relationship, but in the show we haven’t been given any reasons to think there relationship is anything other than Father/Daughter other than the “fake out” things you linked. I totally thought he was grooming her as well, but thank god it turns out not to be true at all!

DennisAnimeFan

So if you really became a politician in a country where I can vote - I'd vote for you and even donate to your election campaign!

I heard a good theory, that Jinx is clingy because her trauma has stunted her emotional development.

Wheeler

the "police girl" (caitlyn) is the same child jace was with at the beginning of the show, there is nothing romantic there, hes probably around 15-20 years older than her and has watched her grow up

Francesca White
>>77716531

He's actually only like 10 years older than her but yeah your point still stands, and don't worry Goidwin has been informed about this, he knows :)

7thdilemma

"... I don't like animal violence, but also... I don't trust birds." I'm dying.

Brimmy

tbf i still dunno what's going on lmao

Lulu

one thing i found tragic about this episode is the reference to powder overhearing mylo say that vi was "twice the person at half her age" when powder still comes second to beating vi's high score all these years later. :'(

Sean D

I hope the fervent fandom isn't spoiling the series for you 😅

eladrin22

Cait and Vi, the start of a beautiful “friendship”, clearly platonic.😂 Also, League of Legends isn't an RPG at all, it is probably about as far from an RPG as it is possible to be.

benj
>>77719700

The show feels exactly like an RPG tho...Arcane shares 0 similarties with League of Legends when it comes to gameplay.

Jay Aniakor

lol she's not a big sister figure, she's actually her big sister

Yusuf
>>77713372

People like Viktor forget to live because they become so obsessed. They go beyond hard work, they become consumed and oblivious to the life that goes by. To be fair, he probably knows he isn't too well.

Yusuf

Honestly, I missed many things too on my first watch. Watching reactions after each episode helped me with the misunderstanding I had. So I understand why sometimes you will miss some things. The show makes it really easy to miss things. Silco's relationship with Jinx at first seemed sexual to me too. She literally sits in his lap and his face is so close to her face when he 'baptizes' her. Not to mention the eye contact. I think it represents a toxic relationship.

Emman Reed

I think claggar is the smaller plushie with the goggles hanging above the couch maybe? Also I feel like this show insinuates a lot of things.

Elise

Just an fyi, Caitlyn (police girl) is quite some years younger than Jayce. She was the little girl he was talking to in the first 3 episodes and she is more near the age of Vi.

benj
>>77740176

Yeah at least 4 other people have already pointed that out lol

Nathan

Last time I said you didn't catch anything, but DAMN that was a good catch seeing Death and The Magician right after showing that Viktor was about to die.

Scott McKennedy

Can't wait for the rest, really glad you started watching Arcane! Really want to hear your opinion on the ending. Keep up the good work 💚

Geneva The Weeba

"Maybe we'll get to hear her unique voice talents once again!" "He's got his face on airships, and mugs!" "Is this the start of a beautiful friendship?" Victor: "I need to get to the lab" Goodwin: "I need to get to the hospital" "Books, amiright?" "What a tourist, amiright?" "This is Vi shopping," "My God, are idealists annoying when you're trying to take your bribes," "We like seeing greatness if we feel like greatness is on our side," "A lot of hate, in its way, is a form of admiration," "I feel conflicted, because I don't like animal violence, but also, I don't trust birds," "You only see the output, you don't see the process," "Cool masks, there's a Demon Slayer cross-over," "Mm! Mm, mm! Little test, little hand-touch test," "Jayce is all like: I'm gonna discover these lips," "There she goes, doing ~surveillance~," "Where do we go from here? More punching."

VJ Sins

sees cait in a brothel choosing a woman "What about police girl, i thought that was where it was going?"
